This laptop with an M.2 SSD is a beast in 2019 (I use it for Android Development btw, Android Studio needs a lot of computing resources)
@reasonablebeing53927 жыл бұрын
Just grabbed the 17.3" 256GB SSD; 1TB HDD and 16GB DDR4 DRAM model at MicroCenter - unbelievably fast. And not a lot of bloatware as I've seen on other Lenovo laptops. I tuned up and adjusted windows 10, immediately uninstalled McAfee and installed an anti v and anti-malware (unnamed as I don't want to debate the choices), added Chrome and some other software. I needed a higher-end laptop / near workstation with a decent graphics card and powerful processor for cad and slicing for my 3D printing hobby and this lower end gaming laptop surprisingly had the best price/performance versus a conventional souped up 17.3" laptop / near workstation. And I can play games if I choose - the speakers also sound great which is a plus. The screen is plenty bright - I had to turn the brightness down and no bleed. The 256GB SSD is perfect for the main drive and I have plenty of room on the secondary 1TB 5400 rpm HDD. I needed a little time on the keyboard to get used to the layout and travel but that is true for any new laptop I bought. It fits exactly for what I needed with a build to price point. No 7200 rpm HDD and a "conventional" TLC SSD (it's mostly read anyway as the boot drive) . I really don't "feel" any performance lag due to storage so far. I'm happy.

They replaced my display and motherboard free of charge but they never fixed my intel core which kinda ticked me off.
