My kids were 10 and 11 when i discovery Leonard Cohen . And I put his music in my car everytime .. They complain everytime and I told them when you have your car you can put any music you must like . For now this is my car and I am listening to Leonard Cohen ! The kids grew up only to one day tell me mom I love the music of mister Cohen .

That is exactly how my siblings & I became huge fans of Leonard Cohen - - in the 1960s! We started by griping about the “ol’ bullfrog” (he was in his 30s, 😂); lifetimes later- we all still love his music.

Leonard always sends me to my knees. Don’t know why I write this. I guess humans always have a need to connect with others to share their mortality. 4 days ago I held my fathers hand as he died. I said let go now. You are gonna live inside me now. I have you. Don’t be afraid. I love you. You are in safe hands. Then he disappeared.
