There's something I really like about big feline animals just enjoying their time in their natural habitats. Be it just moving from place to place, brawling in fields or with other creatures, practicing their aim, just anything, these cats are truly something.

Their 1A5’s. Best way to spot them from the A1A1 is that the 1A5 has different gunner optics on the front roof of the turret. And on the sides of the turret the bulges that used to carry the rangefinders are gone

@@pavelcerny9803 I'm going to need a source for that. You're trying to tell me metal doesn't grind into roads? I don't know about you but my metal wrench doesn't slide away like there, " no friction " drifting off into the great unknown like water on ice. Edit: Feel like that would be sort of bad for your vehicle. Also then did the drifting scene in Golden Eye (I believe was the James bond film) if this was true why'd they need both water and rubber tracks to pull off a drift? And not a very impressive one I might add, for a tank yeah, impressive, but compared to like a car? Yeah no. Note: Even if that's true. We got to remember this, "The aggressive treads of the tracks provide good traction in soft surfaces but can damage paved surfaces, so some metal tracks can have rubber pads installed for use on paved surfaces." Tearing into the road is definitely going to slow you down. And sliding around on the side of a track is definitely going to tear up the road.

@@culturalliberator9425 tanks aren't exactly meant for drifting... on asphalt roads, at least. Snow, desert, dirt, surfaces as such, tanks can drift very well on.

as always... leopard 2 microphone says ok, nice sound. Then Leo 1 comes and the microphone says that's it, bye There is no better engine sound than the bass-heavy 830hp Leo 1 engine. btw Was a gunner on the 1A5 Pz.Aufkl.Btl 1

I find it funny how some people are saying "Ohh it's a Stridsvagn 122!!", "It's actually a 2A5!!", and "NO!! It's a 2A7!!!". Greece does not operate 2A5s or 2A7s first of all, lets get that out of the way. Now, the Leopard 2A6HEL is indeed a 2A6, but with better protection. I'm not 100% sure on this so if someone would like to correct me, go ahead, but {the 2A6HEL is a licensed produced 2A6EX, which was originally developed by Germany and Spain.} Stridsvagn is an improved Leopard 2A5, where the Leopard 2A6HEL is, well, an improved 2A6. Another thing I'm not entirely sure about is the origin of the armour package (front plates and thicker crew hatches), so if anyone would like to inform me about that, I'd really like to know.

You are absolutely right in what you say. Indeed, the Greek Leopard2s are a mix of the original German design program along with some special additions required by the Greek government after some testing

Origin of the armor package is that Germany originally intended to field it for their A6s but then decided not to. It was then offered optional for export versions. You can see an earlier version of the addon armor package on the Leopard 2A6 prototypes "TVM min" and "TVM max".

Leopard 2As have such a distinct sound, im used to hearing them being in the Swiss army where we have 2A5s. However the best sound is still the CV90 with its V8 Scannia engines

The Leopard 1s, Bundeswehr's first true post-war indigenous Standard-Panzer, and one of the best of it's generation. I really like their design for looking similar to that of Konïgstigers and Panthers.
