i did throat bass for 5 hrs a day 5 days in a row to get it better and it completely fried my cords for like a week, im healed now but while it was fried it hurt so bad

5 hours is insane no wonder it fucked you up. I'm impressed you kept doing that for 5 days. I feel like 2 hours of practice is enough for even advanced beatboxers, preferably in 2 sessions.

@@Raptor-cr1se You have to create new muscle memory without the hollowed throat. With certain sounds I have a lot of muscle memory with the hollowed throat so its really difficult to switch to the non-hollow version and sometimes my brain gets confused. Start with doing a liproll without using breathing as the force, but rather your lips. So dont breath in to keep your liproll going, just do a normal liproll using your lip muscles.
