George Van Eps' original title for his Mel Bay books was "Harmonic Mechanisms for the Guitar and Mind" but Mel Bay chose to omit the "and Mind" wording.
I dedicate these lesson to the memory of George Van Eps.

Hi Victor ! I hope you'll take your own notes in your own way. Another way I remember things is just to record a short video featuring the ideas. The point is to not be forgetting or letting good ideas just evaporate once they've been played. Hope this finds you well today ! - John

My opinion is that this is a wonderful way to preserve ideas. I keep a written journal as well. Guitar tab has not been around for that long, but also very useful as a “hieroglyphic”. Tascam field recorder has been my tool as well. But when digital fails, and it has shown to do so, there is always the notebooks with “scores” as a backup. Have fun! 😊
