This KZfaq video is a two-day reef fishing journey allowing you to get the full experience with me. I will be showing you what it takes to get a legal-size kabeljou/mulloway on the reefs. Showing you the spots and teaching you about the holes where the fish are. Also, which bait to use and how to present it.
You can check out my kabeljou/mulloway rig in the link below.

Ok, so I have had this question many times, Why do I use a multiplier rod with a Grinder reel? Well, to put it simply, this was the only combo that was affordable at the time I needed it. I know it's not a suitable combo but it works well for me and I have come to enjoy fishing with this combo. It is comfortable to use and I haven't had any issues using it this way. According to the book this is not the correct combo but hey if it works for you why not. Let me put this in a way, for those wondering, to understand, if you are walking around in the blistering heat bare foot and you stumble upon 2 left shoes, what are you going to do? Use both or only one? Although you know it's 2 left shoes but hey your feet won't burn, I'll take the 2 left shoes🤔😁🎣🎣🤙🏻

@@paulveedub 😅 no problems 🎣🎣 .it's funny how some people think it's glim and glamor on my side or any youtubers side but it's not . But this is a fishing channel so it's anybody's right to enqire for the love of fishing. But we can't always buy what we want to. I'm one of those guys who regularly do windo shopping but the budget doesn't always allow. I do appreciate your comments Paul 🎣🎣🤙🏻

We call this Red fish in the US, I've noticed that South African fishermen rarely use fish cut baits or Crabs in the surf as a bait, thanks for sharing and showing us all the efforts it takes to make a fishing video

The Red fish in USA is not the same as our Cob, which is also found in Australia. Our Cob and the USA saltwater Red and Black drum and freshwater Drum are scientifically classified in same family. We Do use Alot of fish fillets for shore and tidal river fishing, and crab species for our shore, - rock and surf fishing, and have been using those as baits for Many years! 🎣

@@michaeleverton4882 their appearances might have resembled each other to me a bit, I watch and learn from fishing videos from many parts of the world and I've noticed small differences in the tactics and baits fishermen use , 🙏

@@Professor4555 , - Thanks for your reply. I also watch some international angling - fishing videos, mostly shore, - (rock and surf), including those on the USA coast, mainly Florida and Gulf coastal areas. Our beautiful SA coastline has a Great variety of shore, - rock and surf angling - fish species. Some species are in USA too. The bait suction pumps that we use are originally an Australian invention and later Alvey made them famous. We in SA have used bait pumps for Many years. I have an Alvey bait pump. Pumps are also made in SA, 🇿🇦. Novateur bait suction pumps, are in stainless steel; aluminum, - in a few colors and pvc plastic, are made in western cape SA, were exported into USA. I saw recently some bait pumps made in USA, but they don't have a Handle on!, which was a surprise as I have known them all with a handle on! There is Much More power and comfort using a pump with a Handle on!... They Alvey pumps and ours are the best in design. I have seen other international videos of how bait pumps are made and some are made in more detail with more parts! 🦐

The USA freshwater drum looks alot like our SA, Bellman saltwater fish, (a.k.a. Tasselfish - Baartman,) The fw Drum is not a highly rated eating fish, (although some comments, with the related videos,) say they are edible if processed soon after catching them. Our Bellman are a delicious eating fish. Our Shad - Elf; in Australia - Tailor, are highly rated angling and eating fish! In USA, they are Bluefish, some don't rate them highly there, as they are a soft fish which will go off soon if not processed soon after catching them! I consider those to be unfair comments of a good fish, coming from anglers that don't know how to process them soon enough, and being lazy to do so! 🎣
