What to do on a night out, but Billy takes it a stage further suggesting its what the animals did after being cooped up in the ark for weeks! Played on my Dulcetto cabinet gramophone.

What a title! Must've been a music hall fave. Is he imitating Sir Harry or is it the other way 'round? Sounds great.

A fave alright, with an infectious catchiness in his songs. Each time he had a new song he'd record under as many labels as possible to exclude cover artists. That makes his discs easy to find by collectors. Australian by birth, but came to England as a young man & shed most traces of the accent. He made references to Harry Lauder, who was not a 'Sir' during Williams's short lifetime. Usually, it was in jibes about the kilt as here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jNqYrZqQr7DWaYk.htmlsi=23H2f3L9U7kJma2E. Whilst on the subject of Sir Harry, Peter Dawson, the well known bass baritone, had a second career in music hall as Hector Grant & sang with a convincing Scottish accent which infuriated Sir Harry!
