dear leah, you are the biggest critic of yourself...while you are the most perfect as you are! you do not have to achieve anything to love yourself.

i struggle with opening up to people too, and feel like i’m burdening them if i do. we often underestimate how much the people around us can handle, and at the end of the day we are social creatures, we’re meant to uplift and support each other. the right people will do that for you, you have to trust that :)

oh, it turned out to be a really lovely cake even though you have one whisk :) i totally understand what you say about self-love. it is a never easy thing to love yourself . what we all need to do is love ourselves without giving reasons, we just need to love ourselves accepting who we are. i hope the therapy will help you on your self-love process. i will make myself a cake too.

thank you for sharing how you feel even if you think it didn't make sense. and to me, it made a lot of sense, you just said exactly the same thing i've been going through emotionally myself, and so i can agree, it is strangely difficult to feel deserving of love from others and yourself sometimes. i too have kept myself away from other people, like a lot more than i should, and you perfectly put into words the reasons i do that. i also isolate myself sometimes just subconsciously, and i really want to change that now. it's no way to live, to be hard on yourself, i've learned that the hard way. i'm not as happy being totally alone as i am when i feel genuinely connected to people. and same thing here, i went from being an overachiever-cared-a-lot type of person to struggling so much to care about stuff. still figuring out how to manage that, honestly. so, i totally hear you, leah, and thanks again for helping someone like me feel like there's someone out there who feels the same way i do. i hope ur doing well, sending you so much love!
