Honestly I love when the show points out how ridiculous it is on its own. With quips like amanda saying "they have warring karate dojos" and here when terry is like "I really obsessed with terrorizing a teenager over a high school karate tournament." But then they go right back into it lol. They know they are extra and campy af but rather than tone it down they just say screw it we're committing to this

Someone may have already mentioned this, butEd Asner(Johnny's stepfather) had a ton of acting credits to his name. One of his more recent and well-known? Carl(the old man) from Up.

Ed Asner who played Johnny's step father is a legend. He played Carl in UP, Him and betty white last year were the last remaining main cast members of the mary tyler moore show that were alive unfortunately not anymore :( he was also Hudson on Gargoyles, granny goodness on the Justice League cartoons, and J. Jonah Jameson on the 90s spiderman cartoons and many many other roles. Also an advocate of worker's rights and advocacy for victims of poverty and social injustice. A true king RIP

Love this show! How other ones take note from this one. Don't need overly complicated twists. This show does simple twists but does so many at once that it still feels exciting cuz your trying to keep track of all the good well written characters. Instead of there only being a few well written characters.
