I always listen to my sisters' Angel Radio show from 10.30 to 12 noon on Sundays. She plays music from the 40's, 50's and 60's (in my opinion, the best music!!), it's a request show, and just as I was watching your video, my request "The Autumn Leaves" came on the radio!! Good morning nina, really loved this.....the choise of leaf, not a perfect one,that made it all the more beautiful. Sometimes I think you can hear us.....I thougt a bit of gold would look so good and the then you added a little gold( ha ha). My mind is filled with making journals lately and I immediatly thought a journal with only leaves. Today is a good time for "shopping outside" , it is windy and lots of leaves available. wow! that is stunning!!! While raking up some of the leaves for the compost, I managed to keep some pretty orange and yellow maple leaves from the tree in front. I carefully pressed them into my huge dictionary only to forget about them until now! Now I can do something constructive with them instead of letting them disintegrate. 😬 Big thanks for your wonderful videos and sending you s-miles across the miles!!

Nina, when I was experimenting with the pressed flowers videos, I used one very thin coat of clear gesso & it kept the paper nice & flat for layers

great technique! learned another technique with use of the leaves / fall theme. i have lots of dried ginkgo leaves i can use on my project . yours is such a stunning result!

It's such a great idea with the leaves. My favourite time of the year is absolutely autumn..all the colors the nature makes is stunning and absolutely magic.🍂😍 But I was wondering if could do something else to the leaves, instead of putting napkins over it.
