I’ve had luck removing water scale from vases with CLR (calcium-lime-rust) remover. It’s nasty stuff, but it works.

I've had good luck with distilled white vinegar as a means to get rid of stains on glass. Fill the vase with vinegar, let sit for a few hours (or overnight), and then wash with soap.

Here to echo this. Vinegar works really well on hard water marks.

I agree with the vinegar, unless the glass has become etched over time, which sometimes happens if the glass has been washed frequently in the dishwasher.

Use Mr. Eraser to remove the cloudiness from your vases.

Magic erasers will remove the cloudiness from the glass. Use it to scrub and then rinse. They work great in hard water deposits on wi does and glass shower doors.

Hi from Annie so many nice tings at the thrift store those baskets are all nived can't go past a nice one when I go thrifting. That material is great so many uses for it for sure a great bargain. I think you can't really make any mistakes buying up whatever you see as it all comes in handy one way or another nothing is ever wasted. Such a great way to decorate for few pennies. It won't break the wallet either. I love thrifting it always makes me very happy.

My favorite was the resin basket with floral garden looking art. I wouldn't change a thing about it. Just maybe leave it outside to weather even more.... or coat it with yogurt to grow moss. I would have taken the straw hat with the dusty rose flower. I use to make scarecrows years ago for my friends when the OshGosh little boy jean overalls were really in. I would use their child's overall and a little plaid shirt. I would take an old pillowcase to make the inside body to stuff. Then tie the sleeves and legs with raffia and put a little straw hat on a covered styrofoam ball head covered in burlap. It was such a personal gift. Sitting next to a large pumpkin, it was adorable. ! When Leah liked the little gingerbread house, there was a tiny santa mug next to it. I have one and use it for toothpicks on my holiday charcuterie board. The material would make an incredible lumbar pillow, especially with the painting.

Definitely go for red basket, rectangle basket with handles, and basket with handle, but the prices were low enough I would get all, use them and resonate after you get bored with them. Baskets used for gifts at Christmas and birthdays have been a go to for me for years. Folks are always so pleased, especially those who are serious recyclers, or repurposers. This was a fun video. Been away from my IPad for nearly a month so doing a bit of binging to get caught up🌹with Linda st al😊

I soak my vases in vinegar for 24 hrs and then, more vinegar and scrub with a scotch- brite pad, followed by washing in the dishwasher.

I’ve had good luck using the glass top cleaner for cooktops to clean foggy glassware. I also use it to clean soap scum off of my shower doors. Makes cleaning those doors a breeze!

I use Lemi Shine on my glass ware when it is cloudy. Mix with warm water and let it soak.

I think the residue is hard water. Hot water with baking soda and vinegar works for me.

Regarding the cloudy vase- it's difficult to tell without assessing it in person, however, unfortunately many times the cloudiness is permanently etched into the glass surface and cannot be removed. (Not saying that's the case here, but I don't buy cloudy glass for that reason.) There are many factors which can cause this, including hard water or other chemicals which could have been added to the water. It might not feel scratched, however the etching occurs at a microscopic level. This is one reason why I've never used cleaners of any kind on my shower doors; at approximately 15 years old, they are still clear and gleam like they've just been installed. ( And no bar soap either, only liquid.) And that's MY tip of the day. 😄

I would try an SOS pad to take off the cloudy film on vase. It’s a round steel wool pad that has a cleaner in it 😊

Line inside your cloudy vase with paper towel, then saturate paper towel with 2 or 3 tablespoons of CLR. Let sit for an hour or 2, then finish scrubbing (with gloves on). It Works.😊

I love so many styles of decorating a home but in last few yrs for me personally getting more primitive things to decorate the home.
