People have free speech. They are free to make a video on their own channel and say anything they want. That's 💯 percent fair! Now whether or not anyone will watch it is why they leave their comments on popular channels. Because they know nobody will listen to them.

If you get the chance, it'd be pretty awesome to see you go visit Jack at Shed Knives, AriesEDC, or another smaller brand and they walk you through making your own knife. Not necessarily your design, but take one of their blanks and you cut/grind/sharpen it. Unless that just doesn't intrest you, just a thought. 🙂

You have some good ideas. Brainstorming is the beginning of new and better things. There was a time years back when people were able to make a living off of youtube, but those days are gone. The only idea that came to mind is some kind of a store, not an Amazon store or anything like that. For example, if I made a few products and some other people made products and you took a commission to sell them in your store. It would benefit everyone. We would all make a few bucks, and the community would get some killer products that are not available anywhere else. Just a random idea off the top of my head! I don't even know if it would be practical.

If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. One of the reasons people relate is because you aren't fancy or pretentious, you come across as a regular guy just like us who likes blades and you get to do cool stuff with knives. Look at Pete from Cedric and Ada, nothing fancy about that goof, he's just fun to watch. If he thinks it's crap he'll say so, usually in a goofy skit. That makes you trust a guy when he says something is pretty good if he's willing to say when it's garbage. I took his recommendation and got my favorite knife of my over 50 years of collecting, the Creely Mako in magnacut. Don't think I would have bought the weird looking little thing if he didn't give it such a good demo. It's been in my pocket for the last 18 months with no regrets, love that knife. Say it straight, take no sh!t, treat people how you want to be treated and call out any BS. I only found your channel a few months ago and I do try to watch as much as I can but life intrudes. It's not that the vid wasn't cool it's more that the kid needs dinner, the dog needs to go out, laundry is piling up, dishes to clean, kid wants to play, need to do a Sam's run, gotta fix the lawn mower (my to do list for today) and maybe I can watch a couple of vids after the kid and critters are asleep. So don't worry if not everything hits, it could be gold but stuff just happens. It won't help the algorithm but I'll eventually watch the ones I missed. I think that's what counts in the long run, people coming back for the content as they can. 99 people may not get the gist of the message, but if one young fuzznutz gets a clue then it's worth it. I like the idea of reviewing non standard kitchen knives, we all use kitchen knives. Another idea I got from the '5 minute knives' channel, a fun creator if you haven't watched him, was some beater swords/blades. You seem to like the bigger blades. I saw your Cold Steel sword cane vid and that was fun, I have one to goof around with. 5 minute knives introduced me to the Kult of Athena website, they have a lot of good blades for the renaissance fair crowd. He did a review on the A.P.O.C. Survival Wakizashi, they have katana's and 30 something other beater blades from that supplier. I ended up buying one and it's been fun to use on a small ranch for clearing brush and dorking around. I've owned a fair number of swords over the years but most of them were too expensive to do anything more than just polish and look at. The types of blades on this site are inexpensive enough to just have fun using. Maybe looking at inexpensive blades that you can use for chores would garner interest, who knows? Clearing brush with a good, well balanced Wakizashi made me giggle like a 5 year old. Stupid, but fun. Other than that I'd contact the manufacturers of the ballistic gel, knives and anything else you want to review. Worst case you might get some free product to review. Sorry for the text wall, mind is rambling tonight. Side note, I'm in northern Arizona in the ponderosa pine forest at 7500 feet. Every spring/early summer we get a Monarch butterfly migration from Mexico heading north. It was one of my late wife's favorite events, she'd be out there with her camera any time we were lucky enough to capture it. You never know exactly where it hits but if you're luck there are so many of them the almost block out the sun. On a bad year we'd get a few dozen in the garden. The old lady loved that. I used to tease her about spending half a day taking pictures of bugs, now I'm spending evenings looking at pictures of bugs. Life is funny that way.

That piece of steel you got might make for a good Froe for splitting wood but using it as a chopper probably wont work very well but it'll be a ton of fun playing with it and seeing what it can actually do. "Never underestimate the amount of stupidity an idiot can accomplish" is one of my favorite sayings lol. Too many idiots out there to let them bother you, and I agree with your decision 100% to ban those people, no reason whatsoever to tear someone down in chat. Having a discussion is one thing but no reason to act like a spoiled brat. It's your channel and you run it as you see fit to do 100%. Having a look see at some of the older Blades after they have a few edges on them would be a great idea as many knives these days have a burnt edge due to belt sharpening at high speed. The performance of some knives (not all to be clear) really increases alot after you get to that second or third full sharpenings on that edge. Hope you and Megatron have an awesome summer together and wishing you both my best. Thanks for the great vid Scab and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I lost a of family on cancer, my parents, grandparents, on a young age I whas alone. When I needed my father the most, the time you starting to become a man, you dont need to let him go, but you need his advice, it made me the man that I am today, because I learned everything the hard way, on my own. So much is going on in our private pasts and lives, that we al have crosses to carry, one is made of wood, the other of steel, it al is heavy and takes strength. My wife treated before I met her, also the cancer patients in the local hospital, she treated one of my best friends also, not knowing it whas her at the time. Man, scab brother, the train is going strong man, keep'm going, if he goes a bit slower somethimes, I dont give a f%ck its a hobby, and not a must do. Haters, and idiots, one thing this world wil have until the end, thats them ff-ing losers. I think they are on al these platforms, giving shit to a lot of streamers, al ff-ing day, sad but true. Doing good brother, losing that weight helps a lot in daily life, I know, it gives a bit more positive energy and vibes. My regards and respect for your wife, and the hard work she does, because I know she sees a lot more sad and heavy stuff than good things on these floors.... see you later brother, respect.

With your style of hard use videos, showing that you at least know which end is pointy, and a clear idea that you can express to them on how you'd use them, there's at least a greater than 0% chance they'll say yes.
