The whole "meanwhile this, meanwhile that, meanwhile back at this, meanwhile back at that..." makes me wonder whether it would feel less disjointed if they simply reordered their film stock to let each scene play out in its entirety. ...but who am I kidding? That would give us enough time to remember that wolves are best known for their ability to see visions of the past.

I was so excited when they announced they were making wheel of time, I couldn’t wait until it started, now I hope they axe this mess. Before the story before they damage the brand and it becomes a laughing stock. Then it will never be touched again, and made properly.

Why did they strip away Mean Girl's agency. In the books, she made the choice. It's very impactful to her character. So right now, Hollister should be leading the Hunt for the Horn with Gambler, Wifless, and Hagrid along with some great new characters. They also have to get back the dagger that Gambler had. Padan Fain (I don't remember what yoru nickname for him is) stole it when the horn was taken. Gambler will die without it Not Galadriel and Simp are off looking for records. Mean Girl passes her accepted test while Cliff Girl and Princess are BFFs because Princess isn't stuck up. 2.0 does not appear in the book save for a passing glimpse of him by Cliff girl of him moping around the White Tower. 2.0 and Hollister don't even have a seen together until, maybe, book 10 or 11 or 12. New Girl and Hollister do go off on an adventure together when Hollister and Hagrid and Hurin sleep to close to a Portal Stone and whisks them away to a parallel reality where the Trollocs won the Trolloc Wars 2000 years ago.

Two things about the reds' plans: the tower is super high so any exterior wall is probably a 100 foot drop. You can also loosen some rocks with their mojo to make sure that's the easiest spot to dig through is the one you pick while the rest are in perfect condition. But yeah it was a stretch, it does explain the lack of guards though.

The smallest changes to character attitude/motivations as well as others reactions to them absolutely wreck otherwise "faithful" moments. That and that everything outside of the moment is unfaithful too.

At the start when "insurance guy" was walking alone outside with that small child, I thought man I don't like where this is going at all but it turned out he was just the beast whisperer. And if I had magic powers I would definitely use them to filter some used toilet water...I guess.

I am an old school fantasy reader (LOTR, Stephen Donaldson, Dave Eddings) and was wondering if you would consider a vid for people trying to get back into current fantasy reading. You know, when Sheriam is discussing that Red went to the council for votes to send mean girl to her test, this would've been a prime opportunity to introduce The Hall of the Tower and actually have more people in the show than just those we've met already. Really don't like that they're trying to make Alanna's Warders have agency in White Tower politics. Those Warders wouldn't even want to interfere, let alone be part of any discussions. smh.

The whole scene with the water was so bad😂 she was like 'don't tell me what to do you stupid teacher' and later complaining that no one tries to teach her anything. Also they could have learned from the mistakes of the first season but no. Just making it worse. There must be people who are related to amazon bosses that got hired to do this because nothing else make sense! If I did this kind of a garbage festival in my 11e/hour work I would get fired 😅

I've been amusing myself by watching a lot of the eye rolling reviews on this poorly wrtten fan fiction about my favortie fantasy series. I've reseigned myself that this is what we get but am happy to see ideas from the book come to life on screen. This is one recap that had me chuckling the whole time. Delivery, sarcasm and the way you see it is like we were watching together. I enjoy watching the world on live action on 1st view but when I watch a second time, I basically have the same commentary in my head. I would point out specific things that made me laugh out loud that you said but then I'd write too long of a response! The only nickname I don't really 'get" is "Cliff for Egwene" I know she had that one scene but there are plenty of other ways to one word describe her. My biggest complaint from the sub par writing is that while they make the men weak, they have all taken all the best female leads and made them somewhat weak in their very childesh actions. I wouldn't expect much though from Rafe's "The Liandrin version of WOT" I've said in other threads, I beleive Elaida was probably his favorite character.

In which area of the map are they? How far are they from each other? Who controls that specific area, which people live there? Which land is that redhead novice-Queen going to inherit?

New subscriber here, based on having watched your recap of Season 1 of this dreck. That was, and this is, a couple of the funniest videos I've watched all year -- and I watch a lot of videos. The emasculation of Simp -- er, I mean Lan -- exemplifies just how badly the writers of this abomination elevate their personal prejudices above storytelling. Another good example is Mean Girl, who is about as likable as Galadriel in Rings of Power, which is quite an accomplishment, considering how many viewers would have liked to have seen the lattter get properly roasted by that pyroclastic cloud in RoP. But at least we have you, Bookborn, et al., to turn manure into the fertilizer for actual entertainment. Nicely done!

So much fun! I'm watching the show at 1.5 speed and it's still so borings and doesn't make much sense to me. I try to call my memories of the books too help but it doesn't.

I didn't even plan on watching the whole video since I don't really care about the show, but this is just too much fun to not watch it.

8 episode format really hurts any show and especially is bad for something like the Wheel of Time
