1. An ocean scene resin tray DIY using a dollar tree silicone tray mold, dollar tree seahorses and seaweed, sand and resin. This turned out stunning and is perfect for coastal decor.
2. A flip flops beach magnet using mod podge resin, a dollar tree magnet and fairy garden flip flops.
3. A sand castle beach magnet using resin, a dollar tree magnet and a fairy garden sand castle.
4. A pink glitter paperweight DIY using a dollar tree globe mold, resin, a pink felt flower and pink glitter. So fun.
5. A stunning jewelry or trinket box diy using resin, a dollar tree trinket box mold (including the lid) and transparent dye.
6. A spring welcome sign DIY using resin, a dollar tree Welcome word mold, pink acrylic paints, paper flowers, a dollar tree spring flower gift bag and a wood sign.

I I love your projects to help you with your resin usage use water in your mold first to measure it out and for The coloring the stirring stick you used get a paper towel and dab it it will show the actual color it'll be once it dry. Keep up the Good Work ❤

To make the center of your geode, take your glitter or stones or whatever you're gonna use for the center. Mix it with a little bit of resin. Get it nice and thick and put it in the middle and let it cure. Then finish with a top coat.

I bought resin several months ago and have been wanting to experiment with it- you make it so easy and each craft was so fun. Of course the seahorse craft was extra cute- especially if adding a light behind it, however I enjoyed watching you craft a variety of resin things for us today.

Fill mold with water then pour in measuring container. iIt will give you a approximate amount of resin to use.

You can use 90 proof alcohol and that'll clean your silicone molds and cups even when they're still wet you use paper towels also on them

Use the long nose barbecue lighter not a torch. Eventually you will burn a mold or two. The lighter does not get as hot. You can also spray with 91 % alcohol, but not the alcohol and lighter together!! You can also use rice in your mold, Put the rice in the mold then pour it out into a measuring cup. Then with permanent marker write how many ounces you will need.

Hmmm. Are you going to put it in a coaster? I guess I am confused by the question. I think you can use resin as glue to adhere two resin items together? Hope you got it figured out.

Actually I have seen other people doing resin and what they say is a pour water into the mold to see exactly how much water it holds and then that's how much resin you need

Fill your mold with water,than pour into measuring cup,should give you a pretty accurate amount of resin needed

To guess how much liquid you need for a mouId fill the mould with water, then pour the water into a. Measuring cup. That tells you how much you need for a given mould.

But dollar tree doesn't carry epoxy anymore

They do. I have been able to get the $1.25 ones online but they’ve been on backorder for a bit. This is with the mod podge brand which is actually a little bit cheaper
