In this video we will be transforming a standard cracker box into a Junk Journal in no time flat. I'm creating a Sample Book but this type of journal is limitless. This journal will feature my favorite no sew binding. I will split the video in two so you can go straight to the binding if that is what interests you the most, I will also time stamp for your watching convenience.

A sample book is such a great idea, especially for me who watches videos, then makes what I see, and then..set it aside, never to be found again! Having a specific journal for all those 'samples' close by, will save me! Thank you so much for the video, and the great idea!

EXACTLY!!!!! Sometimes when I'm working in a Junk Journal it's easy to forget all the great ideas that I've tried from other creators. I can flip through a sample book and be reminded of all my options. Thanks for watching!

Oh believe me I mess up plenty... I'm not a precise crafter, or a neat one, but at this point I have enough confidence to stumble my way out of many mistakes and bumbles and I think it's important to show that we all can find creative solutions to things and we are all human! Thanks for the watch.

So is it ok to use printouts onto regular copy paper for the cover as well as for the inside signatures! Won't they fade over time?

If this was a keepsake journal... maybe a printout wouldn't be the best choice because as you said it could fade, but since this is just for organizing and projects I wasn't worried about it too much. I keep these journals in a bright spot and they haven't faded yet, but it is something to consider for sure. Thanks for your comment, I think it is could be helpful to other creators.

Hi Primrose. If I am understanding your question….you are asking the size of the digital paper? If I got that correct it is 8.5 x11 standard copy paper size. You could also trim down scrapbook paper. Hope that helps.

@@MichelleRaeLandry You got it right. Thank you. On camera they look so big. I’m trying to make a journal but it’s a bit of a challenge. I’ll finish it though. It’s quite small but I’m liking it even though some of the papers will never be the same size 😂
