VERY very CUTE. I've, been saving cracker, cereal, food bar, and even really tiny and skinny misc. boxes for a long time. I am just waiting for my broken arm to heal and then nothing can stop me from making my journals. I am so excited to start. Thank you so much for the inspiration and the steps to make this sort of journal. BTW, I am exactly like you except I am more of a bull in a china shop as I constantly knock things on the floor and make little (and sometimes big) mistakes when I'm making a variety of things. Your positive, honest dialogue gives me much hope that I can make these too. Thank you, Michelle. XOXOJANE

Jane thank you so much for the encouragement and the kind words. I'm sorry you have a broken arm, but I hope you enjoy dreaming about your box journals and curating things to make the with so that when you are better you can be that creative bull in a china shop (what my parents called me my whole life). What we "bulls" lack in physical grace I think we make up in enthusiasm and creativity. LOL I hope you are back to full health soon! xo

Love this series and the covers turned out so beautiful! I only wondered why you on this one you wrapped the elastic alive the spine? Given that you did use elastic on this one, you could have strung the elastic like a traveler's notebook, saved half the elastic and not had the strings on the outside of the spine. Any particular reason, if I may ask? Thanks so much for sharing. Love your punches. :-)

The Cropodile...it's not without merit... I think it punches holes through thick card stock well ...however having said that I think this cheaper option is more reliable and more versatile. I completely agree with you about the cropodile. In my opinion it's a piece of crap that is not consistent and also my opinion is that people are getting rich off of the folks that want to have the top-of-the-line junk journaling tools and it's disgusting to me!!! By the way thank you for this video I love the journal❤❤❤❤

I think I've annoyed a few people with my remarks, but I do consistently hear from folks who aren't a big fan or can't afford it. It's not a necessary tool when there are so many options on the market. I'll admit I fell for many shiny toys at the beginning of my Junk Journal Journey, but the basics are what I use the most.

Hi There, sorry for the delay in response. When I first found my eyelet/punch set, it was very inexpensive, it is by FISKARS. In the last couple of years, I believe the secret is out and it has doubled in price, and not that far off from the crop-o-dile investment I'm sad to say. My recommendation is to look for (Fiskars Eyelet Setters, 3 Piece Set ) on Ebay, that seems to be the only place I can still find it at its original price . (which was around $12 - but now is double!)

Come on get with the times. after 20 years I can really say the Cropadile is the best investment I’ve ever made hands down. Your method is old fashioned and clunky and takes a lot of time and it’s noisy
@MichelleRaeLandry
@MichelleRaeLandry 2 жыл бұрын
This comment made me chuckle … we will have to agree to disagree on this one… I find this set way easier and faster than the crop-a-dile, I get better results and I can punch and set anywhere on the page… which the crop-a-dile can’t do. I will however agree this is noisier. 😜 I knew I’d anger some Cropadile faithful, luckily we can all pick our favorites and agree on our love of paper. Peace! ✌️
