Nice to hear that Comic agrees with my comment on the previous vid regarding Shadow. Speaking of Sonic characters, even in the movies Eggman is shown to be strong for a human, I.E. he throws the leader of a biker gang out of a bar window and defeats Tom Wachowski in a fistfight, and Wachowski had the advantage cause he attacked Eggman from behind. Speaking of SMT:V, a new version will come out this month called Vengeance.

Now, fingers crossed the SA2 influences on the third Sonic live action don’t cross wires with… say, cutting Gerald Robotnik out, and letting Dr. Eggman progress as a character. Especially given it would let them write him out in the event Jim Carey retires for real this time; I’m glad he agreed to return but of course, it’s moot if they botch it completely.

Id always compared shadow to piccolo or post Buu vegeta. Also I've also always seen shadow as the best character in 06, including the meme kick in the head against silver.

I deeply love E-123 Omega! Fantastic robot all around. Super Mario Bros Z was so goddamn good! Loved the writing of that series and still lives rent free in my head since childhood. Have you guys seen the two reboot episodes that Mark Haynes (Alvin Earthworm) made a couple of years ago?

So Shadow does get some decent moments later IDW, namely during Urban Warfare between him and Silver. As for Knuckles, unfortunately he's kinda stuck on Angel Island but has had good moments with Amy and Blaze of all people.

On P3 Reload; the only thing that game doesn’t do is include the female player character route. Which isn’t essential per se, but it’s got a fun twist on certain characters and interactions due to it; it’s a shame they didn’t program that in. Particularly since certain stuff it inspired was added to Reload in a sense… and we’re getting “The Answer” as DLC, so everything but the PSP exclusive is going to be there.

OKAY! What are your thoughts on Starline and Zavok in the IDW Comics?

Zavok’s never been super interesting, but he’s definitely at his MOST interesting in IDW. There’s still a lot of characters I’d rather spend time with, but his no-mercy conquerer schtick works well enough without being redundant of other villains. Starline’s one I like a lot. He’s a great foil to Eggman. In some ways he’s smarter, in some ways he’s just the same. He’s Eggman with all of the ego and none of the pure joy of being evil.

"There were productorial mandates by Sega..." THAT'S the problem! Sega needs to take a step back and let the ones who know how to write do their thing. Heck...Sega, for the love of Gaia, let Sonic EMOTE and HAVE RELATIONS! Sonic needs to have a deeper personality than rice paper...ESPECIALLY in non-interactive mediums where there needs to be some verisimilitude and Sonic needs to look like an actual character!

Knuckles deserves better genuinely. The whole "fish out of water" angle can work well with a main character, the issue seems more like the other characters around him in the show; alongside the cringe humor angle, the show would probably be much better if the human characters in it weren't so intentionally vapid and irritating.

I actually miss Knuckles' temper sometimes, like wise but a short fuse, that got longer overtime, that caused him to act rash.
