You can believe it to be incorrect, but it still remains a religious work, even if you could somehow prove beyond a doubt that it is completely inaccurate. Further, the majority of scholars and theologians agree that the number in Revelations is 666. There are some early manuscripts that do say 616, there is even one mention of 665. However, the vast majority of surviving texts say 666. Beyond this, we have a second century source (Irenaeus) that states in clear concise language, that while they don't know why, some people messed up and believe the number of the beast to be 616. Though I am not certain of the reliability of this source. Regardless, the matter has been fully investigating by a great many people who have studied for decades in ancient manuscripts and translation. And the vast majority agree, the number is 666 and the few instances of 616 (and 665) are textual errors.

Pretending a character as vile as the biblical one (who is pro-slavery, orders genocide and thinks victims of rape should marry their abuser if they get pregnant) is one that is a moral standard. How religious folks pick and choose which parts of their horrific text they will follow, so they can oppress those who are different to them, while also breaking other rules set out by it daily. And then the gall of you to pretend that such a horrendous book (that has no evidence supporting its claims, but TONNES of science contradicting it) being labelled as what it is, a work of fiction created to control the populace, is somehow offensive. @@Quandry1 Yeah. It was mostly too much of a joke to pass up. Though from the little I remember, there is some degree of malevolence involved. Something about like... gaining power from the suffering of others or... idk. Too many people have took the idea and run with it and I have no idea if what little I'm remembering is coming from something original or derivative.

Unfortunately I doubt we'll be seeing Tom again, he is Adam's friend and was invited on the show because of that link. With no Adam, there's probably also no Tom, I would love to be wrong about this though.

It's a problem that could easily be fixed in post. But man, their constant shouting has gotten SO much worse lately that the problem gotten much more apparent. The production value isn't as good as it used to be.

100%. Just turn the mics down in recording and boost them in post with a volume curve and a few plugins to get rid of the noise floor. Really, no rocket science. I could be wrong, but they seem to have new lav mics, since the studio has been build. I bet someone just leveled them in by saying "test 1-2" a few times and never touched the levels again;)@@bufftucker

im really glad im not the only one to have thought this. I finished watching this episode with a cracking headache. I don't have the best speakers, but a limiter and compressor is all that's needed to get a base level. Love show, just found it last week and binged most of the episodes [moonrakers being a favourite] but yeah, man my head kills now!

Yeah, the humor also became kinda childish? Its apparent in this game aswell where Holly just screams some gibberish. Being playful is ok I guess, but this is just childish. I suppose thats why I liked the Horrified episode a lot, simply because a lot of the humor was actually good comedy. I miss the Draft days. Maybe its also became Im not a big fan of the gamesplayed recently

Does Dom play by himself running around the table and performing quick costume changes or do they do that filming technique where they film 1 part of the frame then the next etc etc and merge it all together so there's 4 Dom's?

@@iguana5736 Does order of played cards matter though? At the start of that hand, he had Mi-Go and Trapezohedron, with the only played card being Investigators. That means he started the hand sane, and only became insane after playing Mi-Go. Assuming order does matter, he could not keep Trapezohedron at the start of the hand since he was not yet insane and could therefore not apply the effect of holding on said card.

I could see a case being made for Tigger, Rabbit, or possibly Owl since he’s the “wise” one who reads books (I think he reads books? it’s been a while, I’m not too up to date on my Pooh lore) being the first one to go mad. Maybe our jaded Investigator Eeyore can get to the bottom of this in time

I thought I loved Pandemic Legacy, and then I played Season 0 - oh my goodness, now that was an amazing experience. I can't wait till the next AH-LCG The Feast of Hemlock Vale comes out. I pulled my copy of Elder Sign out today for something different but still in the same theme.

Rosie, Jon and Sully missed the last set of tapings due to them being at an event, so they should be back soon. Tom has been in some Patreon exclusive online content recently so hopefully he’ll be back in-person soon as well.

Yeah, NRB posted on their patreon about an hour ago that they've mutually decided for him to leave the channel. Adam's statement is purely his side of the spectrum where as NRB mostly thanks the normal fans for their support. Regardless, too many have been abusing Carley, Adam and everyone at NRB. It is very very sad.

It was fun playing along, trying to figure out what people had, there were a couple of times where I figured out someone had an 8, and at the very end I randomly (and I do mean randomly, I wasn’t card counting because I wasn’t sure how many of each this variant has) said 5 out loud only for Luke to a second later guess it and win which was awesome

He will be back soon, was at the Edinburgh fringe and missed a filming block along with Jon, Rosie and I think Tilly as well.
