In the USA, the foods known as jelly, jam, and Jello are all different. Although jelly and jam are both spreadable, fruit preserves. Jelly is a fruity spread that have no fruit solids nor seeds and almost like gelatin. Jam has a bit looser consistency and have chunks of fruit and may contain seeds, etc. And there are also preserves, which is similar to jam but thicker and typically have large chunks of fruit. Jello is a US brand name of powered gelatin and is so ingrained in the USA's culture that we refer to gelatin as Jello as most gelatin dishes found here are going to be made from Jello.

As an American, we distinguish jelly from jam. Jelly is like jam, but clearer and more gelatinous. Jam is between jelly and preserves in thickness and consistency.

They were intirely out of line for thinking that jelly was jello. There's no American or British interpretation about it, they are two different words, end of discussion. But tgat still does not matter, since both jelly and jello are traditionally found in homes!! Like how is this even debatable! She royally screwed that one up.

Just because Jelly maybe a traditional dessert doesn't mean it's traditionally found only in the home which is what was going through her head at the time. I do think it's an object though as all foods are. It seemed easy to fire off questions without really thinking of the answers too much and when all are asking at the same time, made it awkward for the Major. x:x

I feel like Adam should only add one point per episode if he wins the majority of games in these small ones. I mean in 1 month he went up like what 10 points. If he keeps counting it like he is now, there’s no way he doesn’t get past his goal. So for these last 2 months all I want is for Adam sweat it. Make it a down to the wire thing.

Every single time they play a game that I think "that sounds not very fun" by the end I'm always thinking "I gotta get that one that was epic!" I feel for Brooke with the "jelly as jam" bit. I luckily remembered that there were two things it could mean and caught on to which one she was thinking of, but as a North American I 100% see where she was coming from. Also with Costa Rica, I also woulda guessed South America (since when talking about continents Central America isn't typically included), but I looked it up and when disincluding Central America, Costa Rica is considered a part of North America.

Werewolves getting two votes for the seer is way too OP, with one person known as the thing they have a 2/3 chance to just win by random guessing

How do you figure 2/3? Remember, without an apprentice, the mayor can possibly be a werewolf *or* the seer themselves. So with 7 players, 2 werewolves, and 1 known Thing, that leaves 4 unknown players; so random guessing gives them a 50/50 chance at winning, not 2/3.

That just goes to show how important it is for the seer to hide. If a seer hints too well they're going to lose. It's better to tank the game and find a wolf than make yourself look like a seer at all.

There are very subtle differences between Jelly, Jam and Marmalade. It's mostly a consistency thing. I think you all are thinking of the brand name Jell-o or gelatin based deserts. You completely threw me with Ice Cream is very similar to jelly. Also, how is it not "Traditionally found in homes", I have a jell-o packet in my cupboard and a few jellies, jams and marmalades in my fridge which I haven't touched in years.
