The new Horseman of Revelation, lets think of different roles the Angels played, Rictor could be the Horn of Revelation for example, give Beast a redemption arc having him die when he finally turns the corner, Exodus makes sense since he is always looking for a Mutant God, what if Moira turns it around and has a redemption arc as well by being almost a chronicler of Revelation, how about Warren Worthington who hasn't done anything remotely interesting since X Force 10 years ago.

I wouldn't say apocalypse "overcompensated" during that time without his family. I'd say he rose to the levels needed in order to get his family back.

I don't think she would've faired any different with Uranos she's talking wreckless. Magneto and Storm worked as counter because of their powerset and taking him by surprise.

I thought that the name change was kinda lame, until I remembered that the word "apocalypse" comes from the Greek word, "apokaluptein", which means to 'uncover/reveal'. So it makes total sense and is kinda smart that "-:]A[:-" means "Revelation", because that's exactly what "Apocalypse" actually means.

It’s hard for me to see apocalypse other than what he was up to this point. But like they did with magneto’s character development and reasons for the way that they are can be good .

This was such a great comic. The dialog between Genesis and Apocalypse was phenomenal. Also Genesis acting all big and bad but she would've gotten her cheeks clapped by Uranos just like everybody else.

Bruuuh! I Looooved this issue and I LOVE the idea of Revelation rounding up his "Horsemen" but in a much more transformative way! This is some great worldbuilding and character development!

The Book of Revelation is also where the term Apocalypse comes from - one of the foundational pieces of Apocaluptic fiction. Also - Genesis being the first book of the bible, Revelation as the last book, etc.

Storm was the only one to interrupt Apocalypse and Genesis fight (beside Saturnyne) with a bigass lightning bolt on top of Genesis. Her General approach to Apocalypse about them needing to move because of Annihilation army was epic! I love the full elaborative story of Apocalypse and his family. Great writing and great world building of these characters. Im buying all of these. The showcase on Storm being involved in these extreme measures is what I been hoping for! Them writers better not mess all this up 😅

It's funny to see how they are having apocalypse develop character wise. So he was a bad ass mofo who when he shows up. There were problems and people catching fads. I think Apocalypse is going to end up bringing a lot of the missing omega levels as his horsemen, like we have Mr M who is still kinda unaccounted for, Jamie Braddock is kinda on apocalypses way to krakoa and he helped build Planet Arrako, I think they might pull Jericho from the scarlet witch comic, and a new arraki mutant to throw us off. Maybe red root from mad Jim jaspers? Idk, since genesis has the numbers Apocalypse has to have the firepower.

Apocalypse is expressing his wisdom gained on a different land, he has embarked on that for some time to just toss it out. It matters he is not who he once was in ancient times or times before that. He is not flexing on his wife, he seems to want her to get the message you underestimate what you don't know.

I haven't read this one yet so I'll judge for myself how spot on this is cause I'm not buying Blerds interpretation. But going by what is said here: Apocalypse has only ever appeared in flashback and again Blerd is mistaken with Mole talking to him being current. Mole was think back on how he went to talk to people about Sabretooth and the Pit long before he escaped and the whole Sabretooth and the Exiles started. This image was from before the whole X of Swords event and before he created the gate from the Externals/High Lords. He even mentions being busy and the High Lords to Mole cause he was on his way to see them. So this is a flashback and Apocalypse has not been seen till now. Genesis was said to be stronger then Apocalypse, but I believe in character and not in actual power. Especially now we see that he is not only physically stronger and his will is greater. I do not agree with Apocalypse being everyone uncle, father, lover and such is what his all about. That is bull and he was never that. As much as some claim otherwise it doesn't change that he clearly manipulated everyone on Krakoa. He not only did some shady shit but nearly kill Rogue, others and kill to get what he wanned. Hell if it wasn't for Saturnyne he would have gotten the whole world kill. So no I do not believe his changed just because he was talking about peace back when Okkara was still a thing. I believe Apocalypse may have wanted peace with his family on Okkara, but given his thing with only the strongest survive and the Celestials given him power to shape the world that he wanted his family by his side. But cause of Genesis doing what she did that "peace" was destroy and he had to continue it alone. Apocalypse was doing his whole survival of the fittest long before Okkara and Genesis. The A is basically Apocalypse in a new Krakoan, but his taken on the other meaning of it which is Revelation. I think Apocalypse is doing what he does and is testing his family, Krakoa and Arakko to see who is strongest. That his still doing what he always does, just taking on a new strategy since his usual way has failed time and time again.
