Absolutely agree with your assessment of the Cavs. Too many players who can’t dribble, shoot off the dribble, or pass to get assists. They also are constantly trying to make players play out of their natural positions. They have missed the boat. Teams are drafting bigger, more athletic players at all positions while Cleveland continues to go for undersized players at every position

No one complaines about Thanassis sitting at the end of the Bucks bench. Bronny being on the Lakers is fine.

Strus can pass dribble and shoot. His belief in himself makes me think he’ll be good on defense

I am actually curious to see Tyson and Travers play together - sort of connectors wings who can play up or down - summer league should be fun!

I like Jaylon Tyson, I think he's instantly the second strongest player on the team. Cavs have plenty of north-south size but really could benefit from some muscle and east-west size.

If okoro comes back his path to minutes is hard. We got DG/DM/MS/IO/CL/SM/CPJ/TJ that 8 guys already in the 1-3 throw in DW, EB, LT etc

I think he will a solid player. Cavs just refuse to get the exact player they need like they gotta attempt to mold a player to fit

Its crazy tho because 3 yrs later..and we are STILL looking for a Lauri MARKENNAN replacement!!!!....coulda gave them okoro and we STILL woulda got D Mitchell...blame it on the drunks

Utah specifically wanted Lauri, unfortunately there’s no other way the deal would have been made

@@jessicamaxiell7832 It was widely reported that (aside from the draft picks) Lauri was the centerpiece of the Cavs/Jazz swap. The deal was never going to happen without Lauri being included It's been two years since then. Things change. Maybe Utah wants to take things in a new direction and sell high on Lauri to get more draft capital. None of that retroactively changes the Cavs/Jazz deal

This kid will be in the G league for at least all of next season, so anyone whining about his positional rotation value are kidding themselves if they think he'll be a contributor anytime soon.

Yea you’re drunk. 😂 he can play now and impact the game. The question isn’t if he can play it’s what role is he going to be in that’s all it is. If you don’t see his game translating immediately you don’t know ball stop speaking as if you do 😊

@@smercxz OK, tell me, WHO exactly is he going to get minutes over? Not Caris LeVert, Not Issac Okoro, not Dean Wade, Not George Niang, Not Sam Merrill and not Amani Bates if he is ready to begin to contribute this year. If he got drafted by the Wizards, then yes, he'd likely contribute sooner than later, but not on this deep Cavs roster. I don't dislike the player or the pick, but it's just not going to be happening this year for him unless the Cavs are decimated by injuries.
