Love your analysis and Mushoku Tensei as well! The soundtrack fits so well with the themes of the series, specially after the displacement incident.

I love the music in MT, it's just magical. About Spiral, I think it's an amazing song, what made me love it was the way it was used at the end of ep1, it made that scene hit me like a truck (pun intended).

I have no problems with the song, just that compared to how season 1's OPs were all integrated into the show and story from a both musical and atmospheric standpoint it felt like a step back in terms of creativity

@@GengaJupite I think going to a traditional op, one that showed (amazing on the visual front imo) and talked about his depression, memories, the women in his life and hope/the way to move forward, was very deliberate, especially since we spent 8 out of the 12 episodes at Sharia, there's quite a few more things that are hidden in there, but we'll get into hard spoiler territory.
