The reveal or rather return of Dr. David Moroe was a good one. If the krakoa egg of the chimera mutant is another sinister clone it would not be interesting, but still have to see.

The guy in the chair with the smoking chest wound was actually Genoshan Magistrate Wipeout, whose power was the ability to turn off mutant powers. Hodge whacked him to frame a brainwashed Magistrate Havok for treason and prevent the captive X-Men, X-Factor, and New Mutants from getting their powers back (of course, he didn't know that Moreau had used Storm as a failsafe to restore everyone's gifts). IIRC, it was later retconned that Moreau developed the mutate genetic modification process with help from the Age of Apocalypse refugee the Sugar Man, but probably would've come up with the cloning on his own or some outside assistance.

Sinister(s), Moira(s), Genegineer(s),... someone could say we might get a "Clone War" on our hands (i'm a dad, i'm allowed). Still, a lot of clones story lines around a place that didn't want anything to do with them.

the interesting thing about the Genegineer is..he's kinda correct. he studied the celestial engineering that makes mutants (yes, it's all the celestials fault..this is canon going back to the 80s. short version, they took baseline humans and made Eternals, Deviants, and latents...aka Mutants.) and instead of a genetic grab bag...he's tryign to make his own version of Eternals. Just about all Eternals actually have the same power set..they just SPECIALIZE between individuals. Sersei is good at transmutation, Ikaris enahnces physical abilities, etc.

🤔... I say: They called an audible. Biggest audible since DC's Identity Crisis. The Peacock tattoo man was GOING to be: Arcade. They even started bring him back for random 1 off stories to re-introduce him to the readers. Biggest hint/giveaway: Peacock Tattoo man was wearing Arcade's suit. Don't take my word for it, look it up

interesting. I wonder if this was what they initially had planned for the reveal all along. Seems like something Hickman and Duggan would have come up w/ going back and forth brain storming in early x-office days. I think the main thing that hurt the run for a bit was they had to extend these stories out. If this had hit closer to the end of x of swords or after x lives of moirarine or whatever that event of was, I can see how this would have been a fun little villain being revealed around the time of dr stasis and that other pink asian villain guy they created recently when the X-men went to the tree house.

he's a kid that quentin was taking care of because max's parents left him at the bowery + max is a powerful young mutant that if not for quentin's help could have killed other mutants on krakoa with his powers. he's not his biological son but some belive that quentin might adopt max in the future.

The key to long term story telling is coherency. Writers have dropped the ball so much that several plot points became irrelevant. That's probably why this reveal seemed anti-climatic.

Storm is more powerful than Jean Grey even with the Phoenix Force. The Phoenix Force was created to give boring ass Jean Grey personality, but fuck her! The reality is Jean Grey is boring, she would get ate the fuck up by Storm and everyone knows it! Storm control's Oxygen she can instantly take it away from anyone! This story needs to be told and Storm really does deserve her flowers! #blackhistorymonth

......at least Percy had a long term plan....?....where he Destroyed Beasts Character pretty much beyond redemption and instead of having him being pushed to the edge by a clone of himself without the expressed secondary mutation who hates his Beast-self and the reason WHY Beast has been acting so Irrationally was because everything about what had been going on felt wrong...so he did the only thing he could think of...act in ways that his counterpart would have a hard time to predict. Then, once revealed...Beast is EASILY redeemed while still carrying scars from what happened and what he was Pushed to do in order to Corner his own Clone (hell, they could have even had it be Dark Beast who had de-Beasted himself. But no....sigh...
