Can you can on the NuWave precision induction cooktop? That's a question I have been asked many times. This is a short video explaining what I have learned using the NuWave precision induction cooktop in my home. For more info click the show more box.

Presto has induction. Just bought a 23qt for $95 today. If you don't go for induction same canner is $75. I'm a sooooo nervous and excited to try my first canning, I welcome any tips 🤗

Yes; we take both the induction cooker and the oven with us in our RV ... works great out on the picnic table too!!!

I actually used my nuwave burner outside last night and it worked fine. Just took longer to come up to heat.

My Barton 22 quart pressure canner has an induction bottom and a magnet sticks to it.

there are lots and lots of stainless canners out there. I got one from nu wave actually. I just got mine about a week ago.

Presto now makes an Induction compatible Pressure Canner.

I had not heard of this Nuwave appliance. Good info. I just purchased a 41.5 qt All American pressure canner and cannot use it in my glass top stove. I saw a comment someone left, on another video, that he modified a turkey fryer base to hold it. Does anyone have any ideas besides buying another full stove?

An electric coil burner or someone said Nuwave has a plate you can put on under certain pots/pans.

+Donny Baby All American pressure canners are heavy and can crack the glass tops.

The are aluminum and will not interact with the magnetic (induction) cooking waves.

I found out I am allergic to tomatoes and I am trying to find if the white tomatoes work.. Sometimes ya just have to eat some, I do and I have a bad reaction I get when I try to eat them I had ulcers all the way down into my belly it took a long time to find out what was causing the pain and sores. it was tomatoes and I dearly love them

I've heard a lot of people having trouble with tomatoes. It seems like the food we like the most are the food that gives us problems!

I thought you said it could support 50 lbs weight. 50 lbs is very heavy. I tried to lift a 50 lbs bag of beans, and it's definitely much heavier than a full 21.5 quarts All American canner.

They have a thin metal handled plate that set on top of the NuWave and then any pot, canning or otherwise can be used. They are not expensive.
