I actually used Blue Devil back in 2012 on an Altima. While working in Colorado I was staying at a hotel. One of the girls that worked housekeeping had an Altima that would smoke like crazy when she drove it. I asked her if she had ever had it looked at. She told me a mechanic told her it would cost her $2500-3500 to fix. So, I began the research to get her the parts (cheaper). Then, I would work on it for her pretty cheap. Well, during my research I came across Blue Devil’s products. I picked the product that allowed sealing of the system without removing the thermostat(s). After 50min of idling it was good as new. I contacted her 3 or 4 months later... she said it was still running like a champ!!! So, Blue Devil does work as advertised!!!

Enjoy your videos. I myself do some wrenching on my own vehicles and family’s. Started young out of pure necessity. Most people don’t understand the blood sweat and tears that goes into fixing these things as well as the time to troubleshoot the millions of things that can cause a system to fail or run bad. Anyway just wanted to say thanks for your vids man, I have years of doing this work without the schooling so watching your videos helps pickup new techniques and tricks. 🤙🏼

If used correctly. Works amazing. Tried it on a Honda Odyssey Gasket was blown in all cylinders. Fixed it as if there was no issues. I later took motor apart to do gasket and timing stuff. No signs of blockage. Poured the pour and go into rad hose into cold motor. Ran motor for hour plus. Next day it was perfect. Highly recommended It's not like the old school sealers.

I like your style man. I've been twisting wrenches for over forty years and I would work with you any day of the week. I like your test setup, I made a similar one like your funnel and I like how you just put the stick into it to keep the liquid from pouring out as you moved it to the overflow tank. I also didn't know that some cars are made with two thermostats (I don't see many Japanese cars in my shop). It could very well be that the incorrectly installed thermostat was responsible for the gasket failure ( I wouldn't bet that the gasket was even done the first time around). I also like that you didn't edit your comments as you worked; a couple of them made me laugh out loud(been there, felt that) Great job on this video.

I truly enjoy watching your channel. I having the worst time ever. I have been unsuccessful with a warm low idle issue. I replaced MAF, Alternator(voltage regulator) Coil Packs, Spark Plugs, Injectors Temperature Control Sensor, Thermostat, rebuilt the engine, and every time that coolant fan kicks on it draws but then. Also when fully warmed up, it also has a low idle without the fan engaged. It sometimes causes ping while driving very faintly.

WOW this really helps me a lot. My 2006 CHEVY IMPALA over heat on me last weekend. Took to NTB and they did a compression air test and little did they know they fixed the overheating. I am assuming I had air bubbles in the hoses. Taking to car dealer just to be on the safe side and let them change my engine coolant even though I had this done 2 years ago

I also like the style of these videos. I would trade 100 videos of someone talking for 10 minutes before they cracked the first bolt for ONE like this. On another note, if it were me, that 2nd thermostat would have stayed put, and the Blue Devil would probably fail, lol. Good, solid workmanship right here.

all perfect. Thanks for good video. I am doing this to many cars, with other product. Liquid glass. Results till today are for ever, to all cars i did. I prepared system like you, thermostats out, coolant flush, cleaner, sometimes vinegar, many passes water, drain, then the product, and always worked. What is my difference? I read my product help pages, that in a big leak, or HG, or broken head, i can remove 1 at the time, 1spark plug and coil, to make able product to find HG leak and go in cylinder, and stop leak forever. It is like disable positive pressure. Also, nissans 1.6 , 1.4 are known for cylinder failure, inside, that you have to pressure test the cylinder head. And in my country i have thousands of nissan for parts, just for their head (not headgasket)! Anyway your videos are very helpful!!!!

Blue Devil worked for me only for three days. The guarantee was only for what I paid for the bottle at the part store not for the labor. You need to keep the empty bottle to send back the barcode sticker. The company phone number is a voice mail. Try calling the company before buying the bottle.

Most likely the incorrectly installed Thermostat was the reason the car was overheating in the first place. I have read on Nissan Forum late models specifically after 2004 Altimas, Maximas are known for having overheating issues and causes Blown Head Gaskets.
