I would just buy a new power supply and replace it. If the infestation is too bad I would throw it in a bag and burn it.

The best way to find them is where the power supply is cause they love heat

Mine ps4 is not a pro. Its working now for my sister but it wouldn't turn on earlier until we plugged it into the wall, it reluctantly turned on but we have roach issues so now I'm on a mission to try to learn how to take it apart and clean it. I am far from tech knowledge, though. So I'm sure I have a big, frustrating mission ahead of me.

Definitely, those roaches kill them quickly. It's worthwhile to tear down the whole console, as you can see I found quite a few more. This PS4 Pro is still going hard :)

Do you know what's wrong with mine it powers on but when I click on a game it glitches out and the playstation turns off then I have to unplug it and do it again and it does the same thing

its because the 2 wires tell power supply to turn on , you put the wrong psu in the ps4 pro. new from begining , i was frustraded watching you. but now you know, just because you can get a psu 5 dollars cheaper dosent mean you should. o well at least u fixed it.

Hey I'm not sure if it indeed was the HDMI cable, but while the "Enable HDCP" option is checked (pretty sure this lets you watch Netflix, etc.) outputting through an Elgato card will display no signal. Again it might have been the cord, but good to know for the future

I am aware of HDCP issues. I've got 2 Elgato cards, one with and one without HDCP, and the issue did occur on both. Good call though

I think he bought an ac power supply and the earlier models run on dc, just make sure you're buying the power supply compatible with your ps4 model no.

It is difficult to do, the main points are, clean it internally if there has been roaches previously, make sure it's not left sitting on the ground. The main reason roaches go inside them is the power supplies get warm, and if they're on the floor, it makes for easy access.
