I didn't drop my switch, I didn't do anything, I was in the middle of a game, and the screen just glitched out while the switch was in my lap. I don't understand what happened. One second it's fine, another second it's not. What a sad day.

same thing happened to me i was playing a game and after a while my screen glitched it had lines from top to bottom on the left side of the screen but after a while it was fixed

Same, The time I was last playing on the Nintendo Switch was when I started to get addicted to Minecraft. Sadly I now have to wait to either get Minecraft on my computer or get the switch fixed.

Heres a tip if your screen is broken. You can just connect the switch to the tv and it will work just fine but not portable

Are you sure this required an entire LCD replacement? Lines on a screen can easily imply a ribbon cable conectivity issue. Just replacing the ribbon may have been a more cost-effective solution.

The ribbon cable was fine, and the customer had in fact dropped something onto the screen resulting in lines.

Just happened to me yesterday. At first,it happen while im on the game then later it’s getting bad and affected all the screen now. What is the reason this happen? Overheat? I never dropped my consoles,take good care of it yet it still happen. And my switch lite is just 1 and half year. Stupid Nintendo with quality issue

I have the same issue, but a tech told me mine was irrepeareable because there was a “video ic” not the lcd screen that causes the issue

Hi, this is a great video. However, I think I'm having a bit different problem with my screen. Everything is great when playing, but when the bottom right screen is touched or pressed, the screen brightness goes bright and dim in response to the touch or press. Is there a way to fix this, or do I need to replace the screen as well? Thank you very much in advance.

I would suspect there may be an issue with the digitizer (touch screen) in that case.

It could be PI3USB chip or possibly the EMI filters.

I use my nintendo switch lite for over 3 weeks..never drop it or do bad thing to this consoles and yet..my screen just be like this..bruhhh..should just stick to ps4..my ps4 still ok I use it for 6 years..and switch I use it for 3 weeks like..dude really?

@@_Eli_. shine a light onto the screen - i.e. phone torch or literal torch. Can you see some of the display? If so the backlight might be damaged. If you can't see anything then the LCD will need replacing. If you're in australia we can help!
