Lets Make a Glue Book Altered Book Junk Journal Pt 2
Hi - I am having fun making this Glue Book Junk Journal from an altered book. This is my first attempt at making a glue book, but I thought it makes a really nice and interesting junk journal. I love the glue book. It is inspiring me to give it a try. I have to tell you I am amazed at your fussy cutting. You are the best I have ever seen. Can you give us some tips. I just seem to have the back for fussy cutting. And I so much want to use your wonderful sheets of additions for my pages. Thank you again for another great video. Oh these pages inspire to imagine a story with them. The fist page is about a young boy going to sea to look for adventure and sure enough he finds it but not in the way you expect it. The second page, with the girl and the house. Well now, you might think it’s about a girl coming home from school, but you would be wrong. See those clocks, the numbers? This obviously is thrilling spy story. Let’s hope the girl stays safe. 😱 ❤️

Glad you are OK. I woke up extra early to see you are back and the glue book is coming out nice. Love the new kit. My printer still isn't working. We are done with the backyard area. My husband took an extra day off work and finished it before the weekend. We will be adding 3 barrels with flowers next. The garden is growing .Stay safe❤

My husband hasn't been able to find the barrels to buy and I didn't want him to buy pots. It is starting to get into 80 degree temperatures here now. ❤

They are all so stunning. for someone who never did Glue books before you're doing a great job. Tina remember World Collage Day is Saturday May 9th, 2020. If you get a chance at 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Karla at Kagedfish will be doing a live. 90% of what she always does is glue books. Namesta 🕉️🐞💙🐞💚🌻💜🦋💛🐌🧡🦚

Wonderful vignettes~and groupings! Tina...you certainly are enjoying the Glue Book & I, for one, delight in watching you. Maybe try cutting part of her body(say the lower part) and leave a portion(of the top picture) with her, if that makes sense. The unglued flower makes a wonderful shadow on the round clock...if you use a purple & grey colored pencil to imitate the shadow on that clock face...it will look 3D!

Tina, you make me laugh out loud! I am so sorry about your sewing machine fiasco! But, honestly, just hysterical! I like how you say you don't read directions and just crack on. I am very much the same and I don't ask for directions usually! Same thing - just crack on! I so enjoy watching your tutorials - both for learning different things, but also for your accent and all. I love your videos 💗 but I'm new to the whole journal thing. I would really like to do stuff to sell at craft fairs and such. There are so many videos and I am a little confused with everything.. LOL. This feels kinda like a junk journal without all the tags, flips..etc. I love seeing all the creations!

I know how you feel. When I first stumbled upon junk journals, I felt really overwhelmed, there seemed so many different things and styles. Now I just view it as anything goes, whatever you fancy or like, there are no rules. Just follow your heart x

What would you say is the difference between a glue book and a collage scrapbook? I am loving them all. Thank you for the inspiration!

I'm definitely not an authority on this, but I would say that a collage scrapbook can be more abstract, whereas for me at least a glue book includes some sort of objects/people/die cuts etc. This is just my interpretation, and I am sure that others would define them differently. x
