You've seen chefs do it - they shake a pan of food and it jumps up and falls right back in the pan. It's almost like magic. Flipping your food with one hand is a skill that you can learn and perfect. Being able to flip food in a pan is an efficient way to mix or flip over food while you're cooking.

Flipping food in a pan is a great skill to master allowing you to mix food efficiently. Cheese balls, rice or cereal are great to practice with. Are you going to give it a try. Every have a flip go really wrong?

I have always wanted to learn how to do this. At least I have a dog, I can use dried dog food, I get practice, he gets a treat.

Every Commis Chef on this owes you a big thank you for your teachings. A former Chef I worked with used salt in the pan or skillet to get his Commis Chef's to practice with. Also very effective. Nice video Chef 😁👍🏻

Fun episode to film. You really see the food moving in the head on shot, not so much on the overhead, but the overhead teaches better. Lots of cheerios on the floor - the cats got a snack. 🍸🍸

Perfecting the pan flip has been something we've never quite been able to make happen. However, now that we've been motivated by your video, we're going to bust out some dry beans and practice, practice, practice. Happy Holidays!
