For anyone wondering why the applause audio cuts out when music is being played, the band played the Sopranos theme in the studio to introduce the cast members but they don't have the rights for it on KZfaq so they dubbed over it with some stock music.

@@chiefscheider First I'll say that I loved Roy Scheider in Jaws, Marathon Man, All That Jazz, etc, and now I'll say don't post stupid, generic, and smug comments like that. I didn't know James, but went to school with and was very good friends with the girl he dated and was engaged to be married with (back in the early 2000's), and there was way more to it than that. Us mortals really have no idea what it's like to reach that level of fame, so until if and when you have that experience, you shouldn't throw your critique on it. Although this looks like the Sopranos cast members were appearing on the Letterman show stage in New York (at the corner of Broadway and 53rd Street in uptown Manhattan), this bit was likely recorded at one of the Sopranos locations where the cast was already located. They then did the bit in front of a green screen, so they could later, in post-production, appear to be delivering their lines "on stage." There was no audience and sound and applause were added later. It was nicely done, though.

I never fully appreciated the depth Gandolfini's brilliance in the Tony Soprano role until I saw him in interviews and other roles. It was then I realized how far away from the character he truly is. He has nothing in common with Tony, not a single mannerism. You ever have any issues wit the DVDs? man i did, specially season 6, several were bad, a buddy of mine, his mom had died and she had the series so he just gave me season 6 as a gift since he wasn't interested in this show,it was also bad, then i bought ANOTHER copy on ebay, bad also, just gave up on it,lol. I have probably 500 DVDs and that series was the worst in quality, maybe i just had bad luck.
