I’m a mail carrier and had my calf ripped off by a pit. The owners were amazing dog owners. My advice: Any dog can bite. If you’re bold enough to own a dog that can cause serious physical damage or death make sure they’re covered under your homeowners or renters insurance and you have the financial means to pay if an issue like this arises.
