Sr Leigh Doubt it, he is one of the few characters who has a launch punishable wall bounce. Its similar to Lili having a launch punishable power crush because its a launcher.

@@LevelUpYourGamewell sir i may go back to playing some Law at some point...maybe after 2 years and Ive actually got all of Leis 1000 movelist memorized lol. I just got so frustrated when playing Law when i tried the Shaolin kicks into DSS Legend kick combo it either constantly whiffed or the move wouldn't come out due to such a short input window.

His new powercrush looks like it could be useful. It's unique in that he can cancel it into flamingo and has a delayable followup which can natural combo. It becomes easier to hit confirm if the 1st kick powers through something because of the slowdown during a powercrush.

@@atuls55 Its really really useful. Keep canceling to close distance into instant flamingo pressure. It plays a mindgame with the opponent too

@@ferventfoureyes That's what Baek could do before but Hwoarang's has the added advantage of being a powercrush even on cancel so even better.

the -17 is because they only want it used as a punish, it stops people just throwing it out. It is the best 10f punish in the game still (barring meter shit). Flash punches etc. are all -17 too.

@@processingh588 I understand that, though I hardly used it like that because it was a punishable move to begin with so I would use it as a defensive move sparingly. But aside from d2 that's literally his only punish for everything so it should be a good punish to compensate. If he is too early or too late to use it because sometimes that happens in a tense situation you are eating a lot of damage for that one mistake. It's already difficult to be defensive with this character already so losing that is kinda of ridiculous in my opinion. Most of his defense options take too long. D3+4, df1 and b3 only has use in certain situations.

The jab nerf i can understand, and as you said the character got some much needed cool stuff. But that Golem nerf just doesn't make sense to me. They went around buffing many stances and golem was garbage anyway.

@@faustbaldhead1390 the golem nerf made no sense for me either. The only way I can see a mid/mid situation is if they add a throw. I rather would have had it a high/mid mix up if golem was going to end up like that.

Faust Baldhead I understand 1,2 getting nerfed. But i can't think of a single "buff" that i can look at and say "finally he has that!" it seems to me all the buffs he got are indirect buffs. Like ff4,2 being a mid. It makes the opponent have to get ready to block the next hit. The nerf to standing 3 seems to ME to be the most egregious. It was needlessly nerfed in damage. And the buffs to b 1 and ss 2 are useless because those are trash moves.

I get what you mean and was thinking the same thing. I noticed it too when he was on that gootecks and mike ross show. Dude just has a bigger personality even though hes laid back imo
