The Levensau High Bridge (German: Levensauer Straßen- und Eisenbahnhochbrücke; short: Levensauer Hochbrücke) is a high level arch bridge that spans the Kiel Canal in Germany. The bridge was built in 1893-94 (updated in 1954). The current bridge's span is too narrow for the canal expansion to a width of 162 m. Therefore the Levensau Hight Bridge, the oldest bridge at Kiel canal, will be replaced until 2024. This film shows the bridge before the start of the demolition.
