I'll be honest, I humbly believe I'm either good enough now or will be very soon. This is the peak of my career so far as an animator and storyteller.
I'm coming off the tail-end of directing Double Trouble, still the Lead animator for Smash Bracket, been at the grind for about seven years on and off, just graduated college, etc.
Point is, Death Battle or No Death Battle, I'm happy right now. I'm content to continue to create, and I won't stop anytime soon.
For now, just consider this my updated animation reel!

No bad blood between me and the DB crew personally that I know of, I've worked with a few of them before, they're a great group of animators and talented creators. I just don't really have any connection with the higher ups, which would really seal the deal. Guess I need to network more.

This really looks cool man! But quick question for you. Where can I find that video of Luz VS Anne at 0:44 ? Is that one still under development and currently behind a patreon wall? If so, I'll definitely join up just to see that! The sprite animation looks so fluid and awesome! 🤩

Right now, Luz vs. Anne is a personal thing Origin and I have been working on very slowly. Eventually, though, we're thinking of making it a Crossover Colloseum episode, if everything lines up! You should be able to watch it there at some point!

@@levitation5271 Awesome! Glad to hear it! Can't wait to see that fight at some point. Hopefully season 3 of The Owl House will be here before you finish it. Because one thing I would definitely like to see Incorporated, because we already know this is going to happen at some point. Is Luz getting herself a staff. Would love to see that incorporated into the fight and also hopefully we'll get a huge power boost for her, since Anne it's pretty much God level at this point. LOL

I've got a sneaking suspicion (and quite frankly a conspiracy theory) that they never even watched it, lol. It is what it is. I'm sure they have their own way of managing things.
