Interesting to hear Levy say he liked his opening. It was extremely quiet, and he doesn't generally do quiet. Not enough static for his usual comfort. The middle-game and trapped Q showed he was seeking some complexity, but it backfired. I doubt Black actually wanted that, it just happened.

Total noob here but when you got your queen trapped could you have moved to f7? so that if Nf7 you could've taken his queen with Bc7, and if his queen took you on f7 then you could've done Nf7? I know it's easier to look at sth afterwards but just wanted to know if im missing sth for future reference

I was thinking Nf7+ so black has to either Kg8 or take with their knight. If Kg8, you take with be5 whcich stares at the queen. Danger levels. You take my queen I take yours. And if their knight takes your knight on f7, that just opens the diagonal for you to take their queen with bishop straight away if you want a queen trade

Ur missing the fact that when u go Nf7+ he takes with the queen and then with knight so he ends up being down a piece. I guess he thought the position with the knight and took for the queen was better than being down a full piece so he went for that instead.

Yeah that's cool and in the beginning of the video and opening I liked what you were saying and you really got me believeing and yes your right but as you moved on I started to understand something else in this game is that what you did was play more of the outside than the inside of a position to attack and these thought processes I love to figure out
