I like the idea of the first guy, champion league on lan, but the only change I’d make is there NEEDS to be many more ‘bubble’ tournaments so that players can get their names known

Open system is so much better imo. I might be biased since I was only rlly a fan during open system but RL is such a volatile esport and imo u should reward ppl who r playing well right now rather than someone who played well at the beginning of the szn or LAST SZN. League play gives too much protection to the current top teams and gives very little opportunity to up and coming teams

From a random viewers perspective, we need a storyline. We need some hype. A rivalry. A villian. Just anything. Get someone like Archie or Comm to put a topper on his car and let him talk shit. Somehow set up divisions so you play the same teams more often and create rivalries. Get players to actually use their teams decals.... just ANYTHING for people to attach themselves to. And most importantly, they need to simplify it. My friend got into rocket league recently and it felt like i needed a lesson plan to explain how RLCS works.

I think top teams rematch with each other quite often, but agree that it could be a good idea with enforcing teamn decals. I feel it would have to be something only the stream would see as to avoid the placebo of heavy car bug for pros. Although sometimes it is nice to be able to see a visual distinction between the players so you can see that it's actually Zen whos up for it

I think Rise's dad could be on to something. Instead of "leagues" there could definitely be conferences. Every conference promotes 1 team per split, then at the end they play a regional that's seeded by conference that's on LAN, then qualify for majors. It would definitely be more enjoyable if there was less parity in the legit

Dropshot tourneys would be awesome. Im biased because thats my favorite mode, im almost GC in it. Fun fact, GC in dropshot is higher than 99.5% of all players. Gets really hard to find a game.

I am unranked in DS so I tried it yesterday and it put me in a silver/gold lobby. I am C2 in 2s and the other people were also for sure at least dia 1

The last bit with clean start no items is so dumb for people that have actually invested with trading so annoying just because you don’t trade or collect items you don’t care that was a bad take Johnny
