I have 98 Lexus gs300 no check engine light but has rough idle new used throttle body

Why did you replace the solenoid? Did you get some sort of code or error? What issues did you have before replacing? I also have a 2003 gs300 and a about a year ago, I was driving on the highway going like 70mph or so and all of a sudden, all the electronics(radio, dash lights flashed) shut off for a few seconds and then turned back on. When that happened, the engine, accelerator, power steering, and brakes were still working. I pulled over to check under the hood and saw the battery terminal cable was a quite loose, so I figured that was the issue and just tightened it. I also decided to replace the battery and alternator a week or so later anyways just because. Then a month or so after that happened, I was driving in a residential area, going maybe 15mph or so and the opposite happened to me, the engine shut off, but all the electronics were still working. I was able to start the car just fine afterwards, so not sure what happened there. I dont have any CEL on or anything, and no error codes pop up when I plug in my obdii scanner, so I don’t know. Anyways, i did some googling and some folks who had similar issues said it was a bad solenoid. Just wondering what happened to your car? Thankfully, I have not had this happened to me since, but I still want to know what happened and how to prevent it from happening again. It’s a 2jzge, and I have only 90k on the car, so I know its still a young engine =)

What was the engine code for thar

Was it constant or only when the car had warmed up? trying to diagnose mine and ive already replaced (coolant temp sensor, coilpacks, maf and tps)

What was the car doing before that went out?

What software and hardware did he use to clear the codes?
