I’m on my 2nd GS and the only thing I had issues with is changing the battery every other year. All of these other items I never had issues with.

251k on my 2010 GS350 AWD. None of these issues on mine except oil consumption, dying battery and trunk struts. Thank God and knock on wood it stays that way. lol.

This dude must have bought the worst Lexus ever. My 2008 gs350 was a beast long as I changed my oil on time.

Bro my left rear side suspension makes clucking noises whenever I hit bumps. Like even tiny small bumps. U know why ?

Have oil In my Coolant reservoir tank filled.....White Milky Oil Cap...As well as the Dipstick....Doesn't over heat ...Is it possible it's a head gasket....only 112k miles.

I have an 07 lexus gs350 I've had a few issues but what car doesn't at 200k miles still runs and drives amazing better than allot of new cars

Yeah same here, 07 gs350, bought it at 200k miles and it's now at 214k miles. I have a few issues like the rear view mirror discoloration and trunk struts not working and oil consumption but overall it runs like clockwork. What a beast

I just blew the transmission in my 08 at 231k miles. Dropped another used transmission in there for 2700 out the door with a 1 year warranty. Money well spent. Stills runs amazingly well.

I have a 2007 GS 350 with 290,000 miles and the only problem it has ever had is the discoloration on the rearview mirror

Two thigs I can agree so far is the battery and engine rattle sometimes under acceleration.

have an 09 only “issue” I’ve had is a slight rough idle even after warmup. otherwise great car.

I just bought a 2015 GS 350 with 187k miles. It was well maintained and it has none of those issues. It drives like a new car. I'm already doing maintenance on it. My turn to take care of this well built vehicle

I have a 2008 gs350 awd and don't have any of these issues besides the slight engine rattle, which goes away as soon as it warms up.

that's not even an issue. They're meant to do that due to the direct fuel injection system

@@desilvered He might be talking about VVTI gear rattle. The VVTI gear rattles back and forth on startup because the locking pin is stuck open due to sludge build up caused by infrequent oil changes. After a few seconds the VVTI gear will fill up with oil and the rattling will go away. Usually not too big of a problem. However, it is expensive to fix.

Reset idle . Remove negative battery connection for 3 minutes. Then do idle relearn process. Many vids of this on KZfaq.

1:37 If GS battery dies quicky check your amplifier, it may be amp fan running all the time due to faulty amp

My 2007 gs350 lost its 5th and 6th gear it cant go past 4th for some reason. It happened when I did a U turn

It’s in limp mode. Check throttle body and spark plugs. I had same problem after changing plugs- one new plug had a small crack causing misfire. Read obd2 codes with reader. Also Check all vacuum hoses for leaks.

Same. Blk on blk 2011 gs at 143k. Put 58k on it since I got it Feb 2020 I've changed the stock battery, inner and outer tie rods, brakes of course, and o2 sensor. Drives and looks like a dream.

People on here are thinking this guy had all these problems. He's merely listing all known possible problems. My 07 has had the trunk strut problem, high oil consumption, and rearview mirror has been replaced. Lexus owner clubs all list these possible problems.

My 07 gs350 literally starting that ticking noise on the left side and on the right sounds like a lifter tap but doesn’t get louder as rpm rise…? So idk and it starts rough now… all this happened same time by the way & car shifts a little rough 1-3 gears so yea the guy was definitely listing common issues unfortunately
