I found exact same tv sitting on top of dumpster . Took it home and Half screen was only backlit. Ordered upgraded led strips and a remote . Under 50 for both on Amazon . Been a yr and still hanging on my wall . Beautiful picture

I don't know what is up with my LG. It blinks off and on but not always. I won't call it flickering. So I turn it off, only to find out it doesn't turn off. I hear audio but not video. So I turn it back on, only to see it blinking. I use it as monitor to my desktop computer. This has been happening for the last couple of months. It did it while I was watching your video and didn't let go of the attitude. Right now it is working fine. It works good for days and then from nowhere comes the attitude. 🙂

Remember to turn the backlights down. Glad you have patience to replace leds, but they glue in lots of screens now so we stop fixing them lol. Good job again

Hey Bigdog, My neighbor had a LG65UF6800 ready for trash pick up, he said backlights were bad "Edge lit" so I grabbed it, tested backlights with same tester and yes bad, also fuse was bad. I replaced I get sound now. I just replaced backlights, but upon removing the layers of the screen, I noticed some water(Liquid) staining on parts of the Screen films and diffuser. My question is can any of those be wiped down to remove water drip stains? TIA

I have the same tv and mine shows the standby light when plugged in and there’s no display when I turn it on. I checked the voltage of the power supply and it shows 3.38v when I turn it on but 0.01v when powered off and the red light on the main board turns on. Can you help me out figure out which board needs to be replaced? I believe the power supply is fine and the same with the main board but maybe not the t-con board in the middle.

Hello, wanted to ask our TV shows a picture for awhile then shuts off ps " picture shown when switch on is clear and for just 1 sec then disappear". I believe that the backlight is turned off coz I can still see pictures at the back. Can I ask for some assistance? Its a 55 inches qube LED tv.

He's good but needs rubber gloves as the oils from your hands leaves so many marks when the TV is on they illuminate as it's in the textured matt layer and let's the light straight through and had to clean off with glass wipes as anything that leaves streaks or marks can show giving a cloudy affect noticeable when looking at anything other than a still image

Luck what I discovered: My fire stick 4k (3 year old) was the item that was causing the screen problem. I noticed that after I connected my brand new fire stick 4K Max, after a minute the screen get very bad with different pixel lines..... I was using Netflix.... then I opened Netflix on the tv app and it was working all normal. also I used the cable box and all was running good. Also I plug this fire stick to a older SONY tv and the device working all normal. I speak with LG about this problem... and then could't help me. No even to give a discount to buy a new tv. Now I have to throw away my tv and buy a new one. SO I end with LG. NO MORE LG BRAND FOR ME.
