G4 for me around Black Friday. Right now it's a little too expensive for me. Geez I mean $2600.00 for a 55 inch. I'll wait patiently for a price drop.😊

Having just rejected an LG C3 that lasted only two weeks of light use before the panel failed i am very reluctant to buy another Oled. Oled panels have served us well, but mini-Led and micro-led are catching up fast and this is where the future lies, Oled has been taken as far as possible, the latest MLA Oleds may be brigter but how much strain are the placing on the electronices that drive them ? Here in the UK LG are offering a 20% discount on all models including the 2024 ones that have just become available, this to me says they were overpriced when launched.

Ugh, sorry to hear about your LG C3! OLED picture is amazing, but newer Mini-LEDs can be brighter. And for the overpricing issue, sometimes the companies use marketing tactics to sell at higher prices. For that, a good research can be helpful before buying 😊.

@@thetechieguyIn I think i was just unlucky with the C3 but the dealer was reluctant to exchange for another sample they showed me their returns figures on the 42 and 48" models and it was way higher than it should be. The new C4 is supposed to have upgraded panels, now i know why. Re doing research i always do, thinking that i had found a good deal on the C3 but unaware of the panel issues. I think they have overpriced the 2024 models and are now offering the 20% discount to bring them down to a more sensible street price, buying new tech when first launched will always give you a bad deal.

I've had 6 different LG oleds, not one issue with any. Try another.

@@brutalbown1 No thanks, once bitten twice shy. Oleds are on their way out, the panel that failed had poor greyscale from new with excessive banding. When i returned the set the stores repair tech told me that he had seen this many times and advised keeping away from Oled panels.

S95D has the best color luminance. It handily beats the G4 per tests.

big issues with the G4 HDMI 2 port - google for details - returned mine because of this, now have the S95D and very happy

S95D losses brightness vey quickly i hdr mode, ten You will have to wait for cool down the screen or switching off for a minute. This is not happen in G4
