Says camera is not as good as other flagship phones. I saw a side by side comparison between the S9+ and the G7. I literally could not say the G7 is not as good. Samsung warm, LG cold images. Stop being biased for crying out loud.

For those crying about the 3,000mah battery my G7 last an entire day. I'm a huge streamer and music downloader daily and battery holds up without shame. I actually enjoy my G7 better than my Galaxy S8 Plus. Boombox speaker is badass which no samsung or iPhone x support. I've never been a fan of LCD screens but the superbright resolution display is awesome where areas OLED displays such as Samsung and IPhone X falls short of bright accurate colors when viewing images. I have no complaints of my G7 that I did with my Galaxy s8 Plus. Also G7 front Potrait mode is dope and second to none against the top competition. Even tho its 4 GB of ram phone is snappy day in day out which samsung falls short. Just as I took a chance to LG after its downfalls of bootloops with previous models, you won't be disappointed but more so in an awe of your experience with the reliable daily driver fast, superloud G7.

Said it before, and I'll say it again: This phone on discount (say $500) is more worth over a OP6 for my money.

Well for me purchasing it 21 months after release for 130$ with brand new case and a fresh screen protector is totally an upgrade from my Samsung note 4 which I do still love but at almost 6 years old is just truly showing it age

Love the G7, bought one day 1 and no regrets(granted I have owned an LG phone since the LG Shine, Nexus 5, LG G5). I love the sound quality, the DAC was the biggest selling point for me, I only wish the amp was as powerful as my dragonfly red, as I almost have to max out the volume when using my sennheiser momentums

I saw comparisons with the camera and a tie with sam sam phones and personally i don't think no flagship phone worth more than $800.

I am got both Pixel 2 and last years Lg G6. What will happen if you install a GCAM ported app on Lg G6 or G7 and then do a comparison? I got both phones in hand right now and have taken a few shots side by side and I am surprised why should someone spend double to money for a PIXEL 2 phone when 90-95% of the image processing can be achieved via GCAM app. I am throwing a video comparison tonight on my channel!

You can use Tasker to re-map that button to do other things. I programmed mine to toggle the Torch. And I didn't have to root it either.

I hope someone makes a phone in which the front camera sensor is identical to the one on the back. I would take a thicker device if it is required to fit the components of 2 identical camera sensors on back and front.

I got a good deal on it ($0.00 on a two year contract with a trade in of an old flip phone) so I took a chance and I’m very impressed. The camera is way better then the V30, sound is amazing, build and size is perfect for me, it takes an SD card, there is a headphone jack, finger print scanner and water resistance. The only issues I have are the 64gb of internal memory and only so so battery life (similar to my iPhone X) and the AI is absolutely useless and usually wrong (but it shuts off). But it checks 8 out of 10 boxes for me which is better then any LG I ever used and as close to a full package for me as it comes so far. The main camera lense is way better then people (reviewers) are saying, it’s right on par with my iPhone X, my wife’s Samsung 9+ and I took back the Huawai p20 pro after 5 days as the camera wasn’t any better in real life use except for better portrait mode which I don’t care about. So I’m pleasantly impressed and finally found my total package smartphone.

It's a good looking and featured but I don't know why it's not well placed in the market and the love of the people, maybe it's the price and the releasing of the OnePlus with better price.

i'm on my 5th month on this phone and i have zero regrets getting it. it has everything that i need in 2018, and then some. for eg. google asst. i don't need it, but, it's there to tell me a joke or two when i have 0 friends and i can turn it off if it -mocks me for my lack of friends- annoys me too much.

Like everything about the phone with one exception. While recording videos you cant switch between wide and normal angle view without stopping the video. If someone knows a workaround please let me know.

In Australia the 6Gb model is $1100-ish. That's too much, but when it gets down to sub-$900 it'll be a deal. Love the wide-angle camera. The notch doesn't bother me. The single speaker, though loud, should have been a dual system. The AI is pointless... until updates happen.

I had this device for 4 days...on O2 (UK) and returned it, for several reasons it was incredibly slow with often less than 400mb worth of ram left even with no apps open, camera was hugely laggy and the front facing camera was lol just awful. Spoke to LG several times on Facebook and Twitter, and they refused to confirm that this device would receive android 8.1 or android 9.0. Gone back to an iPhone 8 plus.

It's not a 2K panel... K = 1000... There is a bit more than just 2000 (+/-) pixels on the longest side of the screen..😉 A 1920x1080p display is called 2K since it is almost 2000 pixels. 2048 is actual 2K resolution though.

LG went back on a lot of things they said they wont do but did. I thought it was only going to release one phone per year when they need to but they are releasing the same phones again and a v35 only with atnt. LG smartphone division really doesnt know what they want to do. Seems like they're still going to be in the red with this division.

Please don't ever take one plus 6 comparing to the G7 both are totally different. Especially about the speed of launching apps ? One plus 6 faster about half of the second comparing to the G7 does it matter a lot to you if yes then get the one plus 6. To be honest G7 are one the best phone in Android. Even software LG have improved a lot getting some new features updates faster than others companies. Camera 8/10 Boombox sound 10/10 Screen 9/10

Lg has great hardware in the last two years, except for giving this phone only 4 gigs of RAM However their software is bad and this price is too high. Shame, cause this phone is a beauty.

Once again, there are those who are just plain anti-LG! I've had my LG G7 for nearly a year and have absolutely NO complaints - Well, maybe ONE....The wait for Android 9 is ridiculous! Mine is still on 8.0! LG is notorious for lack of software updates, which is a real shame because over the past couple years, their smartphones have been top notch!
