- Step Out sounds fucking legendary - That acoustic Up in the Sky should've been the main album version - Round Are Way performance is super underrated - Cast No Shadow at Knebworth is my favorite performance of them - That version of Carnation is better than the original - John Lennon singing Gas Panic! is amazing ;)

Michael David his vocal chords would have severe permanent damage that’s why it’s not clear anymore, but his vocal technique and vowel pronunciation when singing is the exact same in 1994 to now it’s just the damage and voice maturity that’s altered his sound

@@willtyers1376 But pretty recently he's sounding much clearer due to a cleaner lifestyle. Years of trying to sing like John Lennon and doing drugs damaged his voice and it was pretty much dead and gone by 2009. He's very lucky that's he's not needed throat surgery.

@@jaggass The case much complex than that. His voice started to change very early, I would say around 1994 in 1995 he had a little different voice and in 1996 again a little different voice and we reached 2000 when his voice started really declein. Around the end of the beady eye era, he diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease a Thyroid condition which is rare in men, but his mother has it, so he inherited it from his mom. The disease causes like you have fire in your throat and makes the voice hoarse. I'm sure that the coke and cigarettes etc. didn't help him, but his disease under treatment and I think this is why his voice became cleaner. Noel did coke and smoked a lot, like Liam and every big rock and roll star, but I never heard such a rapid change in vocals like in Liam's case. Jimmy Judge he said in a recent interview (and I knew it wrong) that he had diagnosed around 2009 which was 11 years ago, his voice improved a lot, even in the Beady Eye era and he started his solo career with acceptable voice, at least he regained his full vocal strength, the range is better with years.

Liam is massively underrated. Any live performance from 94 to 96 was biblical. No exceptions that I’ve seen. To me on point for that long is insane.

Liam was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease in the 2000s which led to his voice deteriorating. He takes better care of himself and his voice nowadays hence the resurgence of his voice. Listen to Acoustic Sessions EP and the MTV Unplugged album.

The way he sung is what really killed his voice. Noel did a ton of drugs and still smokes and sounds very similar to how he did in the 90s because he didn't strain himself as much while singing

Liam is great singer and always will be, but, seriously, he screwed his vocals in the early 2000s. He used to sound better as a singer between 1991 and 1998. Today it seems like he is forcing his voice to sing.
