Nice video but there is something confusing. In your video and some others I have seen that you recommend to use the screws with the dots for the Intel 1700 platform but the manual says otherwise (I have just checked again). Could you please clarify ? I have mounted mine with the non dotted screws (LGA1700).

Asetek made a sneaky change to its mounting hardware for the 8th gen pump I see, as I have a Ryujin III and it uses a backplate that you have to screw in the standoffs into.

Looking at the item description package says the screws without the dots are for intel 1700 / AMD. The one with the dots are for intel and AMD. I have the 1700 so I don't use the ones with the dots.

Hi Kleo, great video! I have a question about my setup. This will be in the front if my case either replacing two stock fans at rhe top and leaving one in below it, or i could use it as a push pull configuration at the top with 4 fans and one below. Will leaving one stock fan below cause any issues? And how would i go about connecting all this? My assumption would be to bipass the feed into the pump itself and use the CPU header for the AIO fans and CPU OPT for the stock 3 front fans. ARGB would also just plug into the mobo. Hopefully this makes sense!

I read my motherboard manual and all of the fan headers including the AIO pump has a max Amp of 1A (my motherboard by the way is ROG Strix Z-790-E Gaming Wifi I). Is this safe for my pump to run specially im running i9-14900k?

Hi are you sure the thumbscrews for intel are the dotted ones because in others videos they specifiy that for intel we have to use the NON dotted screws.

At 21:04 my 360 didn’t come with this cable, the reason why I stopped by to see what this connection was for on the pump. Mine is the GA II LCD SL - INF 360

Any idea why my temps on GPU and CPU in LCD screen show 0 celcius and NO fan control. They were working fine the other day. Then I donwloaded icue so I could control mouse, keyboard color, next day when I turned on compurter no temps would show up and no fan control. I read where L-Connect doesn't work will with other programs so I removed icue from system and temps started showing up again, thought I had figured it out. This morning turned on computer and L-Connect and the 0 are back and no fan control. Having the temps available in the LCD block was one of the reasons that I chose this watercooler, have had nothing but trouble with this cooler since I installed it. I do have the latest patch, 2.04 and latest firmware, 0.9.

Maybe you dont notice, but how did you get your cpu temp to actually be your cpu temp? I found out my cpu temp is actually my cpu package temp from looking at other softwares which makes it seem it’s over 10 degrees warmer in L connect software. I hope that makes sense? However, I dont have the usb plugged into my AIO pump, and I honestly can’t find that cord. So I do have some splitters/ extenders and was thinking of either linking the radiator fans and AIO pump together while still having the radiator fans go into controller or should I have the AIO pump plug into AIO header and CPU fan header? Cause i hate seeing 0 rpm for fan for my water cooler too so im guessing thats where I tie in the radiator fans but want to do it properly. I had a kraken elite 240 and never had these issues. Showed the right cpu temp, as well as a pump rpm and fan rpm. I just upgraded cases and went all Lian Li fans so needed a 360 cooler or else Im tempted to sell this and buy a 360 kraken elite but wanted to stay with one brand is why i gave this a try and Lian Li will not respond/ or be of any help which is disappointing for all the products I have. The CPU temp is the weirdest of it showing the package temp Idk if it’s ARMOURY crate but i am not able to control my AIO pump per my motherboard either which is directly plugged into AIO pump which makes no sense since it’s not plugged into the controller. I made sure to go into BIOS to change the fan mode to have control over both. But even when I scan in fan xpert does nothing when I move it. Only in L connect which isn’t horrible cause you want it in one place but ARMOURY crate has the correct cpu temp at least. If i run that 3rd cord on the bottom of the controller to just a random system fan header should I have control through motherboard for fan and then plugging in the other one into a 3 header RGB? Sorry, I know this is a lot of information and lost my last comment I sent but I didn’t know if its even something like a temp sensor im not seeing to change or alter

i got a different thing going on, when i try to upload a mp4 file like u did in the video, i can record it and do all those steps but as soon as i click import the loading screen appears and closes instantly the menu and the video doesnt upload. I can only add .jpeg files nothing else.. do you experienced anything like this ?! ( also all firmware and software updated ) aio v 0.9 and sl inf fans 1.4 plus l connect 3 on 2.0.4 version. Could you help me troubleshoot this? Was this working on an earlier version.

Quick question, I'm planning on building an entire Lian Li gaming station. 6 white 120 SL infinity reverse blade fans from , the Lian Li GA II LCD 360MM AIO SL infinity version, the white Lian Li O11D EVO RGB, and a normal white 120 SL infinity fan. My question is, is there a way to sync the EVO RGB pc case rgb lights and control them with L Connect and what would I need?

i'll have all fans in sl v2 model in my case, i can put them on the galahad lcd without problem right ? i mean it's same connection but i need to use the sl v2 hub ? And for the rgb on fans, i can just control them with all others in same place, not necessarily in the galahad menu in L connect ?

Can you hook up the AIO fans of the none infinity version to the controller of the infinity fans? I know you can connect the Infinity AIO to the new controller.

In your opinion is it better to have the pump at a constant speed or monitored? I wasn't able to change the pump speed in L3 connect but noticed it was due to the bios settings being monitored. I can switch it to ignore and then I do get control but not sure what is better. It's also the same for the fans, I can either have them monitored via the pump or let the motherboard CPU header dictate the speed.

Hi Kleo Yan, thanks for detailed video. I have 4x SL-INF fans (with Controller). I was using these fans with L Connect 3 v1.6.30 without any problems. Since I bought Galahad II LCD SL INF, I had to upgrade to L Connect 3 v2.x.x. The problems start here. I cannot control both my SL-INF fans and Galahad II LCD with v2.x.x. In Device Manager, it appears as SL-INF Firmware 1.4. I updated the firmware on the Galahad II LCD. In Device Manager, it appears as GA II LCD v1.3. It also appears in L Connect 3. But I can't control the RGB and speeds of the fans in any way. Likewise, I cannot control the screen of the Galahad II LCD. It stands firmly on the Lian Li logo. I wonder where the problem is? My motherboard is Asus ROG Strix B650-A Gaming Wifi model.

2:48 this cable wasn't included in my box. If I turn the switch of my SPU ON, the LCD Displays is loading with the Lian-Li Symbol, the ARGB lights are also ON, but in few seconds the LCD and ARGB's are going OFF / the LCD is black. Is this cable optional? This cable is also not listed in the components list. I'am from Germany/Europe, but I think there is only one universal versiom of this AIO Watercooler. KLEO YAN - I need serious help. I've purchasd the "GA II LCD SL-INF 360" for my Asus Strix ROG x670E-A Gaming Wifi but I have zero control over the GA LCD because the option to use it doesn't appear on LConnect-3. The AIO LCD head itself is completely blank as in off. The only time it appears on is for a brief few seconds when I cold turn on my PC after unplugging it from the mains. I have the AIO connected in accordance to the manual (USB connected to the main head and to the USB input on the motherboard; 3 pin cable that comes from the head connect to the 3-pin ARBG connector on the top right of my motherboard, and the 4 pin cable that comes from the Head connected to the CPU-fan that is close to the 3 pin connector; LConnect box powered via SATA and its cables connected to the motherboard's ARGB and 4 pin PWM header/Fan, and the box's USB cable connected to the motherboard's USB), but while I can change the fan speed and lighting colour via the L-Connect 3 software (v2.0.1), the LCD tab option that should appear on the left side is completely missing so I am unable to control the LCD screen and its lighting. I tried uninstalling the software - including removing the User details via the Appdata via C:Drive Users - then installing and restarting my PC but nothing worked. I re-checked all my cables, all no problem. I even went to the bios and I see the bios can read the CPU fan and Pump speed. I tried updating the AIO firmware but admittedly, I cannot find the correct one to use via Liam's site. Right now, I am completely stumped. I spent a lot of money on this AIO cooler, I really don't want it to be all for nothing. PLEASE HELP! I'm honestly don't know what to do, and I want to be 100% ok with my AIO before I consider OC my 7950x3D machine.

After their galahad Trinity 2 release i feel like they are falling off. I have had 2 of their units fail on me with less than 40 days of use. Performance is also surprisingly mediocre compared to a much more budget option like the thermalright frozen notte

My PC just failed. I tried to restart and the Lian Li LCD screen didn't turn on anymore and it didn't give me video. The computer works. The graphics card spins and the fans turn on and the lian li fans turn on and they all turn on from the cabinet and they spin but they don't. I have a Windows image and I cannot turn off the computer from the power button. Do you think my fluid failed and that is why my computer is not providing video and I cannot turn it off. My computer doesn't give me an image now

I have 3 connectors...1 - CPU_FAN ....2 - SPU _OPT ....3 - AIO _PUMP .....In which connector is it correct to plug the pump ? Some people say that CPU_OPT always runs at max speed 100% which is not a good idea.. It is better to connect to CPU_FAN, for better pump control and silence... The purpose of CPU_FAN is that if the pump breaks we will get a warning or the computer will shut down... All the AIO does is read the pump tach.... The experts have a say :) .......
