My favourite version of a fantastic song and it just ends the movie brilliantly.

Best line ever! "You knew you're going to get these." "I didn't know. I hoped, but..." God, I love that movie!

I think that this is the best version of this song ever. I love the blending of Irish folk and rockabilly.

here to say John Hughes was a badass and introduced a lot of people to a lot of great bands. his movies were like 2 hr music videos.

I love this version of the song. Good movie too. Mary Stuart Masterson was gorgeous in this movie. She could have had a better name than Watts though.

her name Watts because she loves Charlie Watts of The Rolling Stones..Drummer!
@MackenzieMichael8 жыл бұрын
neil reveche I did not know that. Did they say that in the movie, or is it meant to be obvious? I do not know much about the Stones. I suppose it makes sense. (David) KEITH Nelson, (Charlie) WATTS, Amanda Jones.

I'm a huge John Hughes fan. He is/was one of the greats. But "Some Kind of Wonderful", despite incredible casting, had me checking my watch throughout, until this song started playing on the soundtrack.

Great song. Movie is the biggest dreck of character cliches. But 16 year old me dug it.

Great cover of this song but to be honest I don't think it was one of Hughes's better films. I believe he returned to form with Planes, Trains and Automobiles that followed SKOW.

Darren Cole, I loved this film! Hughes gave it the ending he wanted Pretty in Pink to have. I am a super John Hughes fan. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is one of my all time favorites!! But as his teen movies go, I really felt this one had something special. I really liked the music, the script, and the cast. :)
