I got a sbc427 from these guys and gotta say everything was top notch and super clean when it arrived in 1 1/2 weeks after order. Also customer service was great, they don't try to rush your ass off the phone when you have a question like "what material do I need for a dist gear" when you already have the motor with their hhr package. Great work guys and my neighbors thank you for the 300' of melted drag radial past their mail boxes.

I've owned two SSRE big block Chevy engines and they both have been horse power beasts. My first Was a 582 HHR that made 732HP with a carb. The motor in my 69 resto mod Camaro is a 598 Saturday Night Special with Dart Pro1 355 CNC heads and a big solid roller. This motor made 860HP at the flywheel on the Sharifoff dyno with a carburator. When the engine arrived I put my Tim Hogan Racing custom EFI intake with a FAST XFI 2.0 system and took the motor to my friend Dave Slatten in Fort Collins Colorado for him to dyno tune. When all was said and done the motor was making 926HP and 848Ft.Lbs. of torque. When Dave called me said, "Mike, Shafiroff made you on hellofa stump puller here". That says it all. Thanks Scott and Vinny, just finishing the install of a 434 Ultra Street in my Nova. I ordered it and 3 weeks later it was across the country and I picked it up. Can't wait to hit the track and street. Very helpful and when I opened the crate no suprises. Exactly like I ordered.

I ran a 10.92 at 124 in my 3340lb Nova. Caltracs, Hughes Turbo 350 and 4:30 gears. That's it. Motor is a monster and it is quite streetable. 434 Ultra Street love it.

Stayed at his house in queens, way back in summer 71, I believe. Both running AHRA at time. Met him at Lion's and or Fremont AHRA race. He was in GT-2 OR 3. Wow, can't recall. Great driver too. Then B/ED rollover at E-Town.
