Actually it’s the best thing that can happen is to become enlightened . Shame others don’t get it. Life is too short to go through as a robot . I had mushroom experience with a couple of friends, it was going well until one of my friends started freaking out. He would repeat his phone number rapidly, and saying that he had to go home. He kept trying to leave but we had to convince him to stay and even had to use some physical force to constrain him and calm him down (no violence was used). We finally got him to calm down and had him lay down while we put the tv on for him. He stayed quiet for a while, but then after about 15 min he suddenly yelled "wow!" With a hysterical laugh, as if he just had a revelation, but a very disappointing or unexpected one. He said again "Wow! Really?! That's all there is?".He laughed and we asked what he was talking about. He responded "that's all there is, we just die, and we start all over again! There's no point! We just die and we start all over again!". He repeated this for about ten min. Imagine how horrifying this is while tripping! He has no memory of this night or of saying this.

Dude awesome your doing philosophy now we have very similar ideas lol , I know your inspired by McKenna and Watts who are two of my favourite thinkers :) I think People really need to hear what you are speaking about these ideas philosophies that shift consciousness on this planet in a much more humane and sincere loving direction rather then than the path we are on now :/ Was interested if you have any political/revolutionary thoughts or ideas ? We need people like you who understand the the truth of self, imagination, consciousness, soul to or preferred term; to lead this world in more positive direction I hope. It your interested in all this I would suggest looking at Mysticism. It's also interesting to note the secret societies and hidden powers like the Free Masons and Rosicrucians have studied and guarded knowledge of this perspective of consciousness. Anyway keep up the awesome videos man :)

I think you just aren't supposed to know you're in the game while you're in the game, but you did choose to come into the game to learn a lesson / level up. I believe once you die you'll remember what real actually is, like you rarely know you're dreaming until you wake up. This life is similar to that. When you die, you'll wake up, and realize that THIS was the subjective, and just like a dream only felt real. Like it says in quantum mechanics that reality is basically a wave of potentials, and nothing truly exists in one place until you introduce an observer. Side note: A friend of mine has a son that's in the second or third grade and one day he wrote "it's ok mommy it's all just a dream" and gave it to his mom. It weirded her out, but I think that's pretty awesome. Oh, I also think we're all here at different levels. There is no level that's higher or better than any other level though, just all here for different reasons. I know I said, "level up" but there's not people that are "better" in any way if that makes sense. Anyways that's my two cents. Cool channel!

I have had the no-ego/awakening/enlightenment experience twice. And after that nothing has been the same. I just remember that as "the real real" and even if I am not in that state of consciousness right now, I have the beliefe that life is just a dream, and I hope that when I die I will wake up.

SWIM is an abbreviation for Someone Who Isn't Me. Please do not use this acronym. Drugs-Forum discourages the use of SWIM and encourages more creative ways to avoid self incrimination. The use of SWIM is the thinnest way of avoiding self-incrimination. We therefore ask you not to use the acronym. This site has firm rules against self-incrimination in forums about production, cultivation, chemistry & extraction. We do not make it mandatory that users avoid self incrimination when discussing personal drug use, you can write in first person if you'd like in most forums. Please read the rules about this topic. We recommend that in the drug creation forums, you use the third person, write about AFOAF (a friend of a friend), dreams or better yet: be more creative and write about how your pink elephant committed these acts while bathing in soup. The more absurdity the better. We ask for your compliance not only for your safety but for ours. I for one would like to see this forum stay up and grow as it has been doing and with various sites that have been shut down, busts and so-forth. Of course you are, such as he most likely is, such as i am. For we do not for sure know, but we for sure know that from nothing came something. Which means that, theoretically we do know for sure, even though we dont. But this thought that we do not know for sure and are afraid, is something that is about our physical being. Or spiritual being understands the truth. We are all one. Life in peace, life in acceptance, and play the game fair and with love to all existance, and find peace in that, and your fear, might not disappear, because there cannot be good without bad, but you can minimalize the amount of bad in your life and that of others.

Adam, I love what you had to say. I feel you're spot on. About a year ago, I was having panic attacks about this reality, and what it all is. I'm one of those people that are stuck in their heads most of the day. It gets very overwhelming and scary as fuck somedays. So I was at a very overwhelming point and the voice in my head says, "it doesn't matter what the playing field is made of. None of you will ever know. The only thing that matters is how you treat yourself, the people around you, and your environment including animals, insects, plants, etc." I've had to remind myself that a few times. And it helps to know that. I really wonder where that inner voice comes from. I've gotten answers I've never thought up. I really truly believe there are things, past family/friends, that speak to us, but it comes through as our inner voice. I'm very happy you made both of these channels. You do help people and I've gotten quite a few things out of what you say. Keep up the good work bro. :)

I like how you've tied this to Alan Watts' philosophies, however I don't believe you've understood it completely; specifically in how you define "I". The way you explained it makes it sound like you believe in a 'soul' or the 'real you' or your 'spirit'/mind carries on, however Alan Watts said: *"Underneath the superficial self, which pays attention to this and that, there is another self more really us than I. And the more you become aware of the unknown self - if you become aware of it - the more you realize that it is inseparably connected with everything else that is. You are a function of this total galaxy, bounded by the Milky Way, and this galaxy is a function of all other galaxies" - Alan Watts* *"What you are basically, deep, deep down, far, far in, is simply the fabric and structure of existence itself" - Alan Watts* To put it simply, what carries on, is the universe, of which you are a part of. Imagine yourself as a wave on the ocean (the ocean being the universe); you are made of the universe and the atoms in your body are being replaced all the time as your wave moves. However your wave will eventually subside and you will die, but the ocean will keep on waving. *“You are a function of what the whole universe is doing in the same way that a wave is a function of what the whole ocean is doing.” - Alan Watts*

Adam explained it fine. Him and Alan differ in terms of the scope of their explanation. Adam narrated from the perspective of a single person and the viewpoint from it. Alan does it from outside that viewpoint and from the whole. They both serve the same purpose. It looks different if your seeking a specific answer 😉 The same goes for everything else in existence

Yes but dont forget that a wave on the ocean being “the same wave” is an illusion. A wave that moves say 10 meters is actually water in one section rising then the water beside it rising, then the water beside that rising. At no point is it the same water molecules moving sideways. It appears to us that a wave is a constant of “the same water” and then it moves sideways and crashed. Same with a whirl pool, it looks like a constant but is actually every millisecond different water. Same with a flame, every millisecond it is new hot gas giving off light, there is no constant thing called “a flame”, it would be more accurate to say “there is a flaming” because these are all processes and so are you. Every millisecond you are different. The idea that you are a constant person for 80 years and then you die makes no sense. Your organism is just a recognisable pattern like the wave/whirlpool/flame. And then everything else you said is spot on

So two weeks ago I had the best trip ever and what I think is my last trip. During this trip I learned something similar to what you say. Not to mention I sleep better, eat better and just feel amazing. I learned that we are all one conscious playing a game with itself. See this conscious has no body, or beginning or end and like you said its just blackness. So it created a game where the rule is to disprove it exists. And like you said anything goes. That includes sadness, anxiety, depression, suffering, etc. So this is where we come into the picture. We believe that we are separate and that we are not or could not possibly be the creators. But the game was designed this way. Because only by disproving and having people prove, that they can manifest things, can this conscious be sure it exists. I'm subscribed and I am happy to hear someone else say something similar. Peace and love to everyone.

Hi Adam. This is going to be pretty long, probably the longest comment I ever posted on youtube, but I feel the need to communicate this things to you, mainly because your way of thinking is very similar to mine and there are not many people that I know directly with whom I could possibly talk about this. First of all: I subscribed to your channel straight after I heard you talking about "the wall" in your video "How to DMT". The reason is that I love quantum mechanic and physics and when you talk about the wall you are actually saying things as correct as they can possibly be at this stage of human knowledge. So I thought: This guy is not just someone that talks about drugs, he actually knows shit pretty damn well. I have embarked on a journey to understand how the universe and everything works since very young age, and it has been a long time now that I have this very strong feeling that we will never brake through the big problems of cosmology and quantum mechanic without rethinking about our own consciousness as a key player in the "equation of everything". As a main example of this state of things I like always to remember the "Two Slit Experiment" and the collapsing of the weave function when the detectors are turned on. I am a firm believer that consciousness as to be treated as something "in within the game", not as something unchanging and absolute from which we get all of our conclusion from. One way I found to describe this is as best as I can is: "We exist in every point, in every state, and in every moment of the "continuum space-time" and at any given time in what we call the real life, we create through consciousnesses a version of the universe as quantum observers. Consciousness is the pick of the quantum weave of our life." I have other great ideas that support this hypothesis, but to write them all down would make this comment even longer. What I want to ask you is: When you say that everything exist because of the opposite to compare it with (light-darkness, something-nothing and so on) you are absolutely right but then, when we die and "one face of the coin gets scraped of" how can the other side possibly keep existing without the other to be compered to? If it this the case, I personally think that consciousness as "awareness" will die with our physical form only and just because they are so connected that they can not be by themselves. I could say that physical form and consciousnesses are in a state of Quantum entanglement. I would like to say a lot more... I have so many ides in my mind about this matter and I am so happy that there are explores out there that are going all out regardless the judgment of other people. You have all my support. I would like to end with a citation of Dante Alighieri: "Consider well the seed that gave you birth: you were not made to live your lives as brutes, but to be followers of virtue and knowledge." Canto XXVI - Ulysses -Divina Commedia I apologize for any grammar mistake, English is not my first language.

" I personally think that consciousness as "awareness" will die with our physical form only and just because they are so connected that they can not be by themselves." this is interesting - imagine if both were true: what would the implications be if we established that people who are more connected to their material body in some way stayed connected to it in death. and if those who were loosely attached to their material body were able to separate from it

Chris Langan, the guy with the highest tested IQ on the planet, who you're familiar with if you've read the book Outliers, has been working on a model of the universe that implements consciousness as a central component. It's called the Cognitive-Theoretic Model of the Universe if you're interested. His website has a full paper that he's written on the subject, though it's seemingly just a couple dozen pages of word salad, meaning it's incredibly dense and confusing. Has a man with no academic scientific training formulated a model that single-handedly explains the nature of the universe as an independent closed-loop system? Probably not, but the general concept of accounting for the seeming significance of subjective consciousness is a concept I can definitely get behind. Unfortunately, his work has just been been ridiculed by the scientific community for the most part, which is understandable, but it does make it difficult for someone like myself who does not have a solid enough grasp of physics to determine whether Langan's paper is complete gibberish or only partial gibberish.

Hey man, sorry, but life is not a game, it is a movie. It is a movie because free will and control are illusions, you don't control your body - your mind does. And you don't control your mind - your environment does. The truth is, you are still nothing. What is that something you think you are? You are no thing, because you experience everything. I would love to use more details to illustrate that, so if anyone is interested just reply to this comment.

I recently had a bad trip from MDMA, it started with the come down. I had a really bad trip once on LSD, constantly switching between realities but this was different. Because everyone who took the MDMA was currently coming down me and two friends tried to get away from the bad vibes and we just talked. We were super socially aware and mentally on the same level. Basically we together came to the conclusion we were sitting infront of a movie screen, life is a simulation and other persons are planted by those runnung the simulation, manipulating and distracting us from the knowledge that everything is just a simulation. I managed to drag myself out of that hole by valuing my current life and I came to the conclusion that yes, I am living a good life. Interesting that you found the same approach! Needless to say the expierence ripped me out of my daily life and it took me a whole week to get back to normal. Scary stuff, I totally get you.

You can think of your theory in a different way, DMT is a natural chemical substance produced by our brains, small amounts of DMT are what make you dream and it is said that when a persons physical time on this earth ends and we 'die' a large dose of dmt is released into the brain, due to DMT being a recreational substance we can make some links between a DMT trip and death, mostly the fact that having a true DMT experience requires you to go through the tunnel of light, DMT users report their 15 minute trip in our time lasting an inconceivable amount of time, so maby those last few minutes as our brain functions shut off could last 1000 years, free from our perception of time on this earth you could say that life goes on, but I'm not convinced that we 'come back' as you put it though I understand the thoughts behind your conclusion. And i cant definitely say no matter what your beliefs, we all play this game, and there must be some reason nobody knows the real truth, or at least can prove it. (just microdosed and watched too many videos about life and spirituality) play the game your way :)

the only thing you can do, is play the hell out of the game. Like you would do on a real videogame, somehow you get to the end of the story, and thats a good feeling like a pleasure, but then we feel empty because its nothing else to play any more, all we can do is pres reset and start from scratch, but its not as good as the first true expirience. Like smoking any drug for the first time. We know why weed starts making less effect, or why we become addicted to tobacco, we want to reexperience the first experience all the time. The only way to do that is somiking weed taking 6 month or 1 year being sober. im just eating rice in boxers in front of my computer. bye

if you see your life as a on off switch like you said its still smarter to go on because you will never be at the point you are in this moment again and isnt just experiencing another moment worth experiencing why not at least make use of the happiness that is still left inside you (through happiness hormones) That leads in most cases that you see the good side of living angain and start wanting to go on again! you will still want to make progress if even more when you know its a game, because you normally play a game to have fun, so just make everything that its more and more fun. its easier without ego, because you can see things from a more logical and less personal view and this way you can get over problem because it just doesnt feel out of reach anymore but instead something like a lot of questing (like in rpg games for new items, but instead you can climb the ladder in anthing you are interested in!)

+Philosophiefraktal Bontii But that is the problem, we humans are very egotistic beings. Life can be rough, people already commit suicide without knowing the definite outcome of death. If you are playing a very shitty game and see no light at the end of the tunnel, it is a better option to play another. You may see optimism and positivity in knowing that you are stuck in an absurd cycle of life and reincarnation, but perhaps that is because we have been more fortunate than others. Envision this, playing a game with only one life and no definite existence afterwards, you only get one shot at this game. Wouldn't you put in more effort and fight harder knowing that you only get one shot so it is better to make the most of it? Don't you think that people will fight harder in games if they had no reset button? fear and anticipation for what happens next is spoiled if there is no mystery. Fear keeps us alive.

I don't think you would have any memories of being nothing going back into this game again, because memories are only ideas, and ideas can't exist without a brain, and they die with the brain. No one has any ideas coming back into the game. A blank slate. That's the whole point to the game of existence I think. To have an experience and eventually have it end and somewhere else there's a new brain that will form a new personality that will have a completely new life with all different experiences. I like to think there's only one mind in the universe, which is the universe itself, but it can't experience itself (like memories, an experience is an idea) just as fire can't burn itself, and that's why we exist. As a window and vehicle to give the universe consciousness. The ability to move and our senses being fixed in our bodies gives us the illusion of being separate individuals, in some lives you wake up and realize the game, in some lives you remain immersed in it. They're all the real you, every form of animal life in the universe is you having every possible experience. Just like these bodies, perhaps after the real you (the universe) ends, a new universe (a new you) will burst into being and new life-growing planets will form and the cycle goes over and over again, playing new games. What's to stop you from killing yourself if you realize it's pointless? Maybe realizing the nature of the game…Whatever life you're living right now if you don't enjoy it, want to start a new game, realize (and I think you have talked about this too) that this is what you, the real you, wanted. Indeed you did ask to be born, you just don't remember it! There will be plenty of time to live a new life later. For now, experience this. ☯️🕉💟 Dr. Watts originally opened me up to this idea, and I think it's really cool to hear you talking about it.

I think I have a very interesting theory to talk about that's been on my mind for a while! Okay so this is salvia related and there have been many accounts where people who have tried salvia where they will experience 'the wheel' of life. They will see many people's lives spinning around and they will temporarily go into the lives of these other people and for a brief moment will experience the consciousness of that life. One moment they will be an angry father shouting at his children cowering in the corner, another moment an sick old woman laying in bed dying, and another maybe a baby playing with its toys etc. This is a common thing people who take salvia have experienced that I have read about. And some people would say how it felt like they were trying to get back into their original life that they had before doing the salvia, but the trouble is being in that state they don't remember it! It's a struggle to try and figure out which was the 'right' one and not come back as someone else! The theory is instead of coming back as themselves as they knew before the salvia trip, is that they come back as someone else! And they would never know because they would automatically have all the memories and life of the new person that they have become and will not know any better! So you would never know that it happened if it had happened! And it can only happen where you switch around with someone else who also just done salvia at the same time as you. Is this really possible? What are you thoughts on this? I wonder about it all the time whether it is really possible to switch bodies with someone else in a more permanent and long term way? Since you can temporarily for just brief moments experience the lives of many other people outside of you when you are in that state.

I like to think of releasing resistance over waking up, you can always keep waking up, it is all relative in this ever evolving/refreshing game with no absolute highest good. There is always more, this can feel depressing and unsatisfying in the sense of trying hard and resting or like total freedom when being more relaxed with it. My sense of releasing resistance and experiencing myself suddenly playing the bigger game is the most loving and joyful experience that I've come to know so far and I'm recognizing it as an important guidance sense, I think it can coexist with day to day life experiences and I feel like it becomes part of all interaction in an inspirational way. The paradoxical nature of the enlightening state, backed by immense euphoria proves to me that the contrasting mind is only part of the game and that the true I is more than just the ego. Instead of conversing with the mind, I try sitting in silence for an answer, just with honest, natural intent. This is what helped me to allow previously mentioned enlightening states. Once experienced, l tried remembering the difference, but it's always a new game. It still feels familiar, yet completely, greatly new like it isn't familiar at all. As far as manifestation goes, initially emotion, goosebumps, eventually anything. True expectation or involvement with the path through the game. The path is right under your feet, it's a real-time save point, which can seem harsh at times, but it's beautiful too. I suggest chilling in the now, without paying too much attention to what's going on around you when it's not pleasing you, if it is pleasing it's like a buffer of momentum. There's always more, you can never get it wrong and it's never done. It's the easiest thing to do, it's always perfect for you and I'm convinced life will never seize to be, I've seen things which implied more, but at my own command. My honest command, the kind of command that doesn't need you to direct anything, just allow it, you can even directly be the witness of it, the sense of having a choice will be there once you feel it, infinite intelligence is there to back you up when you choose through contrast/duality. Now you allow.

We were born infinite times in infinite characters through infinite time sets... That's why it's a game... The purpose is to enjoy the much you can from each character... We'll never be able to understand how this world works because all the answers are in the word "infinite" and we'll never understand "infinite". So stop thinking and start enjoying the game. 🙌🏻😏

I was so sure of simulation theory on shrooms. Like I was in the matrix. It's just a silly thought experiment to most philosophers and normal people hah. But to the psychnonaut it's TOO real. It's frightening as hell. It's exciting. It's wonderous and mind blowing. I wish we could study the psychedelic realm through a "proper" method of inquiry. Or is that why they're so amazing? because we can't?

Totally agree with you! I've been thinking about it for a long time. I would add that another way to see this, is that there is a potential for consciousness everywhere. Like a fundamental physical field. When matter is organised complex enough, this potential materialize into consciousness. So you are already playing every other lives at the same time without knowing it.
