Happy New Year, Geoff! Looking forward to seeing your videos next year and keep getting plant tips. Good way of looking at yearly goals. I have budget goals (tracking monthly), health goals and eating right goals (no prepackaged, full of crap meals) The last two goals should impact each other for positive results. Going slowly, e.g., make a new recipe per month. I have separate spring plant chores list and this year specific plant glow up goals (thanks, Wildfern channel).

I've just set myself three goals. One, get my health back on track. Two, get the house repairs done. Three, live one day at a time, and don't sweat the small stuff.

I spend the cold short days inside reading and watching KZfaq doing research and getting ideas for the upcoming growing season. I’m surprised views are down during those months.

Sounds like a good way to spend time. And yeah views are always down for plant-related channels over Xmas. At least, mine always are!

Nice goals, Geoff. My main goal is to get my low energy and chronic pain sorted out…I’ve been neglecting myself ( and my houseplants) tending a terminally ill friend the last couple months, lost a few houseplants and gained some unwanted weight stress eating. But I’m getting more help and setting some boundaries, so things will get on track soon. I do want to get a couple grow lights before I buy any new plants, I’m looking forward to that. Plants are great therapy, even just reading or watching You Tube! 🌿

I think your story is the same for many folks - life just gets on top of us and we forget or neglect our priorities - and personal health HAS to be a priority otherwise we won't be able to help anyone else. Holiday times are a great opportunity for a reset. Glad to hear you're getting on top of things Judy.😁

I'm shocked that you don't know how to type, you and I are of similar age and typing was a required course in my US school at the time. It was definitely a handy skill when it came time to type out papers in school and for filling out college applications. (kids these days don't have to fill out an application for each school, lucky dogs)

Isn’t part of the National Curriculum here and never has been. But seeing as many (most?) people spend so much of their lives at a keyboard I think it should be.
