Yasss! Wine glasses hold more than wine and make life fancy. Also, Xannie I love that you verbalized that you, the woman are not BPD, and that a session or anything can simply be an expression of how life is going! Cheers to all of you. ❤️

I appreciate hearing tips on being assertive. I’m really struggling with this after recently getting into a definitions argument because I convinced myself that I was being assertive. I wished I would have focused on a solution in that situation rather than being proven right about the details. As someone who’s very early on in recovery (just diagnosed 6 months ago), it’s so tempting to listen to my inner critic saying “See, this is what happens when you stand up for yourself. You look like a jerk and end up being wrong anyways. You should just accept other people’s criticism without question.” And then the person I hurt told me that I should know better at this point and that my tone was unacceptable. It’s really hard not splitting on them. Even though I logically think that there’s some truth in what they said. And I get that they need to set healthy boundaries for themselves. I just really worry that even though I am calm about it now that I can’t trust myself not to react poorly in the future.

Hi, thank you for illuminating people's experiences with BPD. It is heartening to see beyond the malaise of Borderline to hope & happiness. I have Borderline and would love to contribute to your enterprise as a participant. I can provide further details in a more private space (email).
