I lived through a war as well without entering into too much details, after some time life is "almost" normal but in reality it's not. I remember shops open, playing sports with friends and stuff just to hear the sirens go and slowly head home. It's pretty crazy how humans can adapt to almost anything. War sucks

I would be concerned about how the people who live in apartments keep safe during those air raid sirens. Is there an underground basement area they can all go to? It's wonderful to see the food places opening up and life returning to Kyiv.
@IamIzayis
@IamIzayis 2 жыл бұрын
Yes there are underground basements in most apartments but No, many don’t even prefer it.. it’s too small, crowded, many just risk their lives staying in place.. my friend for the first few weeks was staying in a hallway away from the window, basically as far away from the outer walls of the building as possible. Then just hoping nothing comes your way. I asked why not go to the subway station.. again.. too crowded, cold (at the time) also subway stations were being targeted so was better off staying put

This is a real problem. Especially those who live on upper floors of glass buildings. By the time you get down to the basement, and for heaven sake don’t take the elevator, it’s over or is too late. However, on the other hand, they only talk the talk and do nothing to change the situation. I wouldn't expect those bloggers to attempt a regime change in Russia, because they'd be killed very quickly. But if only they would try to educate the brainwashed Russians instead of only making videos about how sorry they are about the war. Russian civilians are being contaminated with state-sponsored propaganda and the bloggers that know about life outside should do a lot more in terms of informing their compatriots.
