It was pouring with rain so I had some time to answer some of the most asked questions about living in Positano. Theses are the more personal ones and there will be another video (when it stops raining) with the more Positano related questions.
There were also a lot of questions about me and Carlo, when we met etc..That is for us both to answer as it is not just my story so we will do a video together soon.
As I finished this video a few good new questions came in so I will answer them, also in another video!

It's so sad that the older farts in the UK (I'm an old fart in the UK who voted remain) took away the ability for young British citizens to work around Europe by voting for Brexit when 80% of the youth wanted to remain. I know where I live the young often leave to get experience around Europe and then return home for jobs they would have had difficulty getting right out of school. Thanks for a peek into life in Positano. It's such a beautiful place and fun to live a bit vicariously.

Hi Nicki, my husband and I were in Positano in 2010. It was our trip of the lifetime! We were in Europe for a month and Positano was definitely one of our favorite places we visited. Love your utube videos.😀

You’re definitely stylish! In one of your more recent videos you had a mustard sweater and grey sweatpants. I wore the same outfit and got loads of compliments. I also will be stealing this dark red top, black belt and light denim outfit. I love the white dress you wore on the boat trip and the blue floral dress you wore in Capri. Ciao !l Nicki such a cute video....thanks for letting us get know you guys better Skye is so cute and articulate...the new Kitty will get better as he relaxes and settles I have adopted some cats and dogs and they tend t get gentler as they loose the fear....And don't move out of Positano, stay as along as you can ITS A STUNNING PLACE!!!!!! Please do a lot of hiking around the Lattari Mountains, visit farms and places in the winter with Holly and your friends and show us more in-depth video of your hikes and the mountains.....I am here in a concrete jungle :(...Greetings from NYC Lili

One question that I have is have you tried using those carts/bags with the wheels that go up steps? I thought that with how many stairs you have to climb that they would be a huge help. Great channel, and amazing videos! Thank you so much for sharing! I live in New Hampshire US and I live in a very rural area with tons of woods and wildlife, but I really love seeing how other people live in different parts of the world so I really enjoy your videos 😊❤😊❤

Just watched this video -- love watching all your videos. At about 13.00 you mention someone says "you are always so stylish" and you say you are definitely not. Well I have the answer -- I've lived in Italy and I can definitely say that Italians are always stylish even if they don't think so because style originates in Italy. That's my theory anyway!! In US we are behind at least 2 years or more always. No matter what you are wearing Nikki -- you always look great!!

Brilliant! thank you! Also, my husband is English and i am Italian...He never had any of the foods that i grew up with. I sent him to the store for Pecorino Romano and fresh Mozzarella and he came back with Kraft cheese !

Seems like a wonderful life in a beautiful city! Your beautiful daughter is so fortunate to have ties to two countries and is bilingual! Like people all the world, aging often involves a move! Can’t imagine the steps are easy on an older person, especially those steps without handrails!

I am the same.. You just stay longer and suddenly you are "living there" permanently 🤷‍♀️. My parents came over with their big truck after my first son was born and brought all my stuff from their house ... 17 boxes! ... And they "secretly" put it all in our basement unit😂.... Which we only discovered after they had gone back to the UK! The only thing left at their house now is my cello, which I would love sometime! and a Celtic stool that belonged to my great great great grandmother which I inherited from my great great aunt. I have now decluttered my 17 boxes down to 2 boxes and several scrapbook/photo albums..😊
